"Aren't you going home to have dinner with Jackson?" Rachel asked, hugging him tightly without realizing it.
"Do you still care about your son?" Kingsly chided her, gently gripping her slender shoulders.
She felt wronged. How could she not care about her son? She had even looked at him reluctantly before leaving... Heavens knew she didn't want to leave the kids for a moment. "If I didn't care about the kids, I wouldn't bother with you at all," she murmured.
But his hearing was sharp, "You dare. Even without the kids tying us together, you wouldn't escape me."
His dominance was never just a matter of words. He was like a reserved leopard, only showing his strength when his prey appeared. Usually, he wouldn't reveal any hints until he had captured his prey. Still, he vividly expressed his domineering nature through his words today.
She liked this side of him because at least she could understand his thoughts at the moment.
