The butler entered with a bowl of porridge, placing it on the bedside table before quietly leaving.
Kingsly softly asked Rachel, "Do you have an appetite now?"
Rachel shook her head.
"But nausea is worse on an empty stomach, right?"
Rachel remained silent, not denying it.
Kingsly picked up the porridge and used a spoon to cool it down.
Rachel saw Kingsly's actions out of the corner of her eye, and her throat tightened.
After cooling the porridge, Kingsly told Rachel, "Whether you have an appetite or not, you must force yourself to eat something. It's good for your health."
"I don't want your concern."
Rachel's reaction wasn't as strong as before, but she still maintained her distance from Kingsly.
Kingsly replied, "If you don't want to see me, I can leave... But in the coming days, I will continue to care for you like this."
