The scene fell silent, as if a world-ending storm was brewing, gathering its strength to utterly destroy everything in its path.

Apocalypse slowly levitated, hovering above his own faction. A faint smile played on his lips, and with an arrogant confidence bordering on the absolute, he addressed Charles and the others: "Have you come to pay homage to me, your God?"

As the words left his mouth, the people of Kent Star looked at each other, faces full of astonishment.

This guy... why does he seem like he has a few screws loose?

"I am Apocalypse, the ancestor of mutantkind, the God of mutants! Accept my rule with reverence, for I shall become your deity! I will bring you an unprecedented golden age! And you, you shall become the chosen people of God!"

As Apocalypse spoke, a terrifying aura radiated from him.

He's strong!

Charles and Erik exchanged a glance.

But if this was all he had, he wasn't invincible.

Although they might not be able to beat him alone...

They had a brother, and they had a dad!

With backing and support, their confidence was rock-solid!

Besides, even without Clark and Mike's support, they were confident they could defeat Apocalypse!

Because they weren't fighting alone, nor were they just a group of people fighting—they were a nation!

Just as Erik sneered, preparing to mock Apocalypse, voices began to ring out.

"Pah! Accept your rule?! Who do you think you are, Lord Mike Kent?!"

"You didn't show up when we were suffering, but now that we're living in peace, you come along? Does a piece of sh*t like you dare call yourself a god?"

"We're already in a golden age! You scumbags better kneel at the feet of the Kents!"

"With reverence?! I'll give you a pile of sh*t, believe it or not!"

"Lord Kent is the eternal God!"

"Get out of here! You're not welcome!"

The voices were chaotic, but they all expressed the same anger and disdain.

Finally, all the voices converged into one unified roar.

"Get out! Get out!"

"Get out!"

"..."

The thunderous wave of sound seemed ready to overturn the world, threatening to knock Apocalypse—this self-proclaimed mutant ancestor and god—right out of the sky.

Apocalypse gazed coldly at everyone below, a flicker of anger quietly igniting in his eyes.

He had never expected to become the new master of this place without shedding blood.

To become God once again, he would inevitably have to ascend a staircase paved with blood and corpses.

"Then, let there be war!"

Apocalypse spoke coldly.

With his command, the mutants he brought with him unleashed their abilities and pounced in all directions.

These were soldiers he had carefully selected. Each one had their potential unlocked by him, and every single ability was suited for combat.

Although there were many people on Kent Star, and more were constantly arriving, the vast majority of citizens had abilities unsuited for fighting. This was one of the reasons Apocalypse hadn't hesitated to declare war.

Watching the enemies charge, Charles and Erik roared.

"Kent Star! Assemble!"

Following their roar, the people of Kent Star bellowed in response and charged forward.

Both sides rushed at each other screaming, like two massive waves about to crash together and shatter into foam.

Abilities flared everywhere...

Fire, frost, gales, shadows, clones, sonic screams...

The entire battlefield turned into a fantastical spectacle.

Outside the battlefield, at the Superpower Police Headquarters, Nick Fury felt his blood boil for a moment before instantly calming down.

As the director of the Superpower Police Bureau on Kent Star, protecting the planet was one of his most important responsibilities. While the scene was stirring, he still had a job to do.

Thus, he calmly ordered, "Commence attack. Use weapons."

Although every mutant ability had its merits, in a war like this, unless one's power reached the level of Erik or Charles, it was impossible to change the tide of battle with a single ability.

Therefore, weapons were still incredibly useful, especially those designed specifically for mutants.

Following Nick Fury's order, the Superpower Police—who just a second ago were gathering energy to use their abilities—immediately pulled out their weapons, aiming their muzzles at the enemy. Simultaneously, numerous gunmen appeared on distant rooftops.

Seeing this, the charging enemies faltered, and some couldn't help but curse aloud.

Shameless!

If you're mutants, decide the victor with your abilities! Why use weapons?

As the thought flashed through their minds, a hail of bullets was already flying toward them.

They scrambled to use their abilities to dodge, but some were inevitably hit.

Just as those who were hit prepared to scream in pain, they realized their wounds weren't bleeding.

"What's going on?"

In their confusion, they felt the power within their bodies rapidly fading. They were turning into ordinary humans.

"Damn it! It's the Cure! How shameless!"

A cry of alarm rang out, and the expressions of Apocalypse's mutants changed drastically.

This stuff countered them too hard. But what made them even angrier was that the ones using these weapons were mutants themselves!

Disgusting!

Actually using weapons developed by humans to deal with mutants!

But watching this, the people of Kent Star felt it was perfectly normal.

Because on Kent Star, Superpower SWAT teams were equipped with Cure weapons. Using them to arrest mutant criminals effectively reduced damage and casualties.

After mutant criminals were captured, the Cure was continuously administered to suppress their abilities.

It made managing criminals much easier.

Watching the enemies being suppressed by the Superpower Police's Cure weapons in such a short time, the people of Kent Star sneered.

Serves you right!

These damned enemies deserve to be treated like this.

"So this is the Cure weapon?"

Apocalypse spoke indifferently. His gaze flickered, and an invisible force quietly emerged. All the weapons began to show signs of decay, and in the blink of an eye, they turned into sand, slipping from the hands of the Superpower Police.

Instantly, the rain of Cure bullets vanished.

Seeing this, the Superpower Police were stunned, and the X-Men were startled.

"Whose ability is this? Apocalypse? Or someone else?"

Erik asked with a frown.

"It should be Apocalypse," Charles said, his eyes gleaming coldly. "I'm going to use my ability."

Hearing this, Jean, standing beside him, looked at him worriedly. "Emma and I will watch over you."

The incident where Apocalypse invaded Charles's mind via Cerebro had truly frightened them, causing Charles to hold back his ability until now for fear of another intrusion.

But now...

Charles looked at the surrounding Kent Star citizens and decided to use his power.

Without the Cure weapons to suppress the enemy, these ordinary citizens who refused to retreat would definitely suffer collateral damage.

That was something he didn't want to see.

So...

Charles's eyes flashed, and he unleashed his ability.

Psychic energy spread across the entire battlefield, invading the minds of one enemy after another, bringing them under control.

Clearly, Apocalypse's faction hadn't gone so far as to equip everyone with psychic shields; after all, such devices were extremely rare.

Just then, Apocalypse, sensing the situation, had a glint in his eye.

Last time, when Charles fully released his power, Apocalypse had invaded him through Cerebro, indirectly controlling Charles by hijacking the machine. He couldn't do that now.

This ability...

Apocalypse murmured, his heart full of desire for Charles's power.

If he could obtain Charles's ability, he would have the final piece of the puzzle for his perfect power.

"Go. It's your turn!"

Apocalypse looked at his three Horsemen.

Before his voice even faded, Daken, unable to hold back any longer, lunged straight for Logan.

His only target was Logan. Now empowered as the Horseman of Death, he had absolute confidence in crushing him.

Logan, watching Daken charge at him, was equally furious.

Although he had only recently met this son and had basically no emotional attachment—in fact, he rather disliked Daken due to his behavior—that didn't mean he felt nothing seeing Daken mix with Apocalypse.

"Want to kill me? Then come try!"

Logan shouted coldly, moving to intercept Daken.

Daken grinned. The moment they made contact, as their claws left wounds on each other's bodies, his physique seemed to suddenly expand. With speed and strength far surpassing Logan's, he backhanded a claw strike into Logan's abdomen.

Seeing this, Logan roared. His Adamantium claws slashed down with a cold gleam, severing Daken's claws before slicing toward Daken's waist.

Squelch!

A bloody wound appeared, and Daken kicked Logan away.

Father and son stood facing each other, like two wolves locked in a rivalry.

Daken pointed at the wound on Logan's body. Logan looked down and noticed the recovery speed was significantly slower. He snorted lightly and casually pulled the bone claw out of his abdomen.

"Is this the new power you got?"

"More than just that."

Daken grinned. In the time it took to speak, the bone claws Logan had severed had already grown back.

His regeneration is stronger!

Logan noted internally.

And he gained an ability to inhibit my healing.

Even his strength and durability have increased tremendously.

Except for Daken's claws not being as sharp as his, Daken's other abilities now surpassed his own.

"Old man, this time you're really going to die!"

Daken grinned, roared, and charged again.

Logan's eyes darkened. Just as he was about to engage, playing cards flew over.

Bang! Bang!

Accompanied by explosions, Daken was blasted away.

Gambit adjusted his hat and walked up to Logan. "You don't mind me stepping in, do you?"

During Daken and Logan's brief clash, he had keenly noticed the state of Logan's wounds. As an old friend, he instantly guessed the problem Logan was facing.

Logan grinned, looking at Daken climbing back up, and said coldly, "Just don't kill the kid!"

"Got it!"

Gambit laughed in response. With a flick of his hand, a Vibranium staff appeared in his grip.

Ever since establishing friendly relations with Wakanda, thanks to Storm, the veteran X-Men had received gifts from T'Challa.

"Two of you?"

Daken curled his lip. "Want to call a few more old geezers?"

"Wow, his mouth stinks as bad as yours!"

Remy LeBeau teased Logan. His staff glowed with a bewitching pink hue as he watched the charging Daken, then slammed it violently into the ground.

Instantly, the ground cracked, and streaks of pink energy surged toward Daken like rapidly growing vines.

"Haha!"

Logan laughed happily and charged at Daken.

While the three fought, Alan, the Horseman of Famine, charged into the Superpower Police ranks.

Unlike Daken, he wasn't fixated on Logan.

His goal was to reduce the enemy's combat power as much as possible.

He rushed into the crowd, his pure black eyes glowing slightly as he activated his ability.

Immediately, people within a hundred-meter radius centered on him felt their physical stamina and mental energy draining rapidly, as if an invisible beast were devouring them.

Devour and Strengthen!

Alan's body was rapidly reinforcing itself.

Seeing this, the surrounding Superpower Police immediately launched attacks at him.

But Alan smiled faintly. The energy he absorbed formed a protective shield that blocked their attacks.

Seconds later, the Superpower Police within the hundred-meter radius fell like wheat before a scythe, passing out one by one.

"Phew!"

Alan took a deep breath and charged toward the densest cluster of police.

But this time, as he rushed in, a man with silver hair and a face mask sensed the power draining from his body and quickly retreated, shouting loudly, "Get away from him! He can absorb our energy!"

Although his reaction was fast, many were still drained of energy and collapsed while trying to flee.

Seeing this, Might Guy, Kurenai Yuhi, and Asuma Sarutobi appeared beside Kakashi. "Kakashi, what do we do now?"

They were now captains in the Superpower Police, deeply trusted by Nick Fury. As soon as Apocalypse appeared, they were dispatched to the battlefield.

"Such a large range..."

Asuma also found it quite troublesome.

"We aren't the only ones here," Kakashi said, gesturing toward the X-Men. Seeing that Scott and Storm had already noticed the situation and begun their attack, he smiled faintly. "Leave this to them. We'll go deal with the others!"

The three nodded and quickly departed.

In the next second, lightning struck from the sky aiming for Alan, and beams of crimson optic blasts landed on him as well.

For a moment, lightning and red beams seemed to swallow Alan whole.

Alan was startled, but seeing that his energy shield could withstand their attacks, he relaxed and pushed forward toward others despite the barrage.

Seeing this, Storm and Scott snorted coldly. Their attacks intensified, pinning Alan in place.

"Emma, keep everyone else away from this guy!"

Scott spoke into his communicator. Emma's psychic force, which had been guarding Charles and watching for Apocalypse, swept across the battlefield.

For a moment, the battlefield became even more chaotic.
