Chapter 436 - Bloody Departure

Hampton Hotel was the most luxurious hotel in all of Kerville. Mirah might not have ever been to it or even heard of it, but from the valet at its front and the visible interior décor, she knew I hadn't booked myself a place at some random location.

I was supposed to get down from the vehicle there and head into the hotel, but my interaction with Mirah was not done for the day.

Severed Thread worked over a period of three days, its effects disappearing once that time was over. Unlike with Nina and Ava, I didn't stay with Mirah at least not yet. This meant I had fewer ties to influence the woman and bury myself in her heart.

How far I went into Mirah's psyche determined where I would stand when the three-day period was over. If I didn't do a good job, there was a chance of heavy rejection.

Rather than step down, I made further inquiries and, working with the answers, found myself in a supermarket, helping Mirah shop for groceries.
