Your family drafts contracts that ensures that my assets end up in your family trust but with me having no claim to them," he yelled now standing up to his feet, "Edward, I will not be treated as if I'm begging. I don't give a damn about your nuptials or what not. I would have signed it if you asked me, it's the fact you went behind my back."
"This is what I was scared of," I matched his tone, "I was scared of you lashing out like this. I was trying to find the right way to tell you. I'm only doing this to protect you."
