Despite everyone's extreme lack of belief and faith in me we had won with a four point difference that nearly caused everyone in the crowd to go through cardiac arrest. It was bloody, muddy and gruesome. It literally took blood, sweat and tears for us to win.
It was my first ever time as a captain winning against New Zealand. We had a record of winning against them as well as losing, but it was my first ever time being the captain for a game against them and I had done it. It was a big deal. A massive fucking big deal.
