The morning started differently than usual.
The first difference was, of course, the time Lane and Damien had gotten out of bed. Neither of them had to go to work, so they skipped the gym as well - it wasn't very useful to them anyway, and everyone needed rest days. There was no need for them to get up at an ungodly hour as usual…
That's not to say that they slept in, though. No, not at all. The morning cool was still hanging in the air, as the sun hadn't been able to warm the city up just yet, but Lane was already out of bed.
Yes, Lane. He was the first one to jump out of bed. Because, while cuddling in bed with Damien was nice, he had a lot of great things planned for the day!
At least great according to him. As for whether Damien would enjoy it… That remained to be seen.
But Lane was convinced that he would. After all, who wouldn't like a shopping spree, especially when someone else was swiping the card? And a card with seemingly unlimited funds at that?
