Tenguyama Hitetsu, a doll enthusiast, had sparked outrage when a lecherous girl was captured by the Beasts Pirates. The incident led to a furious mob storming his home, setting everything inside ablaze.
"Tch!" "I knew that old man wasn't a good person. Last time, he was eyeing me with that disgusting look!"
Enel, watching a female blacksmith whose muscles were larger than his own head, felt utterly bewildered.
Capturing Kozuki Sukiyaki wasn't particularly troublesome—he had been held in the factories of Kuri. What was slightly more complicated, however, was dealing with Kyoshiro and the courtesan of Wano.
Despite his contempt for Kurozumi Orochi, the Flower Capital was still Orochi's territory. Since Kaido had decided to keep him around, Jack couldn't just storm in and seize people—it wouldn't be polite. So, he personally flew to Orochi's mansion in the Flower Capital to explain the situation.
"What did you say?! Komurasaki is Kozuki Oden's daughter? A remnant of the Kozuki clan?"
"And Kyoshiro is actually Denjiro, one of Oden's retainers?!"
"Are you joking, Jack?! You're crossing the line! Are you trying to take Komurasaki from me too?!"
"You refused to give me a mermaid, and now you want to snatch the top courtesan of Wano as well?!"
"Lord Orochi!"
Seeing Jack's impatience—his gaze flickering between his massive kanabo and Orochi's head—Fukurokuju panicked and hurriedly interjected.
"There's no need for this. Simply summoning them here should be enough to verify the truth!"
"And don't forget the prophecy, Lord Orochi!"
As Orochi's face twisted with fear, Fukurokuju turned to Jack and added,
"Lord Jack, if you could endure for a moment, please hide yourself for now."
Kyoshiro was drinking with his subordinates when the summon arrived. He waved it off, saying he'd go after finishing his drink. However, the ninja messenger's stern tone made him frown.
"You are to come immediately. Lord Orochi has urgent business."
"Are you refusing a direct order?"
"Hmm…?"
Kyoshiro found it odd. Normally, a summon was just a formality—being late was never an issue. But this time, they were rushing him. Had something happened?
He glanced at the displeased ninja and suddenly burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Of course not!"
"I, Kyoshiro, am Lord Orochi's most loyal follower. How could I possibly disobey my master?"
"Hmph! Then hurry up!"
The ninja left first, and Kyoshiro followed with a few subordinates.
When they arrived at the castle, Kyoshiro spotted Komurasaki, which put him at ease.
"Looks like another one of those dull banquets where I stand around as a bodyguard."
"Hah! Lord Orochi… What a joke."
He and Komurasaki exchanged a brief glance before looking away. With the help of her attendant, Otoko, Komurasaki gracefully entered, while Kyoshiro and his men followed shortly after.
Upon stepping into the banquet hall, Kyoshiro saw several courtesans already performing and moved further inside.
"Komurasaki, you're always so enchanting."
"But I'm getting tired of this…"
"Maybe I should just kill you."
Orochi's words made Kyoshiro's heart turn cold. He didn't know what was going on, but when he saw Orochi unsheathing his sword, he immediately rushed forward.
"Anyone who dares offend Lord Orochi… is my enemy!"
Swish!
The blade flashed, and Komurasaki collapsed into a pool of blood.
"You…"
"Komurasaki! Why did you kill her?!"
"I was only testing her!"
Orochi pointed an accusing finger at Kyoshiro, his face twisted with rage as he screamed,
"Jack! JACK!"
"What do you have to say now?! Kyoshiro killed Komurasaki with his own hands!"
"You owe me, Jack! Komurasaki! And some mermaids too!"
Jack? Kyoshiro was momentarily confused until Jack emerged from a nearby room. Without hesitation, he swung his kanabo toward Komurasaki's lifeless body.
Clang!
Jack smirked at the shocked Orochi and spoke calmly.
"You want compensation for Komurasaki? You can't even tell a fake death when you see one?"
"Your Observation Haki is pathetic."
"You want me to compensate you? How about I compensate you with a club to the head?"
Jack then turned his gaze to Kyoshiro.
"Kyoshiro—no, I should say Denjiro. And this so-called courtesan, Oden's daughter… I have to say, you two hid well."
"Who would've thought Oden's daughter would end up like this…"
"Tch."
"Bastard! Shut up!"
Boom!
The top courtesan of Wano, Komurasaki, regained consciousness in a daze. As she scanned the unfamiliar room, she suddenly realized something was wrong. Looking down, she froze in shock.
"Ahhh!"
Bang!
The door slammed open, and Jack walked in, shouting at the suspended Kozuki Hiyori.
"What the hell are you screaming for?!"
"You woke up, big deal. What's with all the fuss?!"
Seeing Hiyori's flushed, furious expression, Jack sneered.
"What's the problem?"
"Aren't you a courtesan? Shouldn't you know more than me?"
Bound like an octopus and hanging from the ceiling, Hiyori struggled fiercely, but the rope only swayed more violently. Realizing this, she ceased her resistance and glared at Jack.
"I am a courtesan, not a common harlot!"
"So what? Just means you charge more."
"Orochi said you were amazing."
"You—!"
Hiyori quickly calmed down, offering Jack a sweet smile.
"Lord Jack, do you have any particular preferences? I can accommodate you."
"But could you untie me first? This is quite uncomfortable."
Jack shook his head and smirked.
"You're forgetting something, princess."
"You're supposed to be dead."
"You—!"
Smack! Smack!
Jack patted Hiyori's face, then called out, "Hey! Let Kaido know she's awake! Bring those two in!"
"Those two? Denjiro is exposed too? Who else…?"
As Hiyori pondered, Denjiro and an elderly man in a tengu mask were dragged inside by pirates. When Denjiro saw Hiyori hanging in mid-air, he roared furiously.
"Princess Hiyori! You bastards—!"
Crack!
Kaido entered, grabbed Denjiro's throat, and whispered,
"If you don't admit it, this guy dies."
"Three…"
Snap!
"Urgh…"
"Denjiro!"
Hiyori screamed in anguish as Kaido snapped Denjiro's neck. The masked old man trembled violently but remained silent.
"Tch. Tough old bastard."
Jack ripped off the mask and smirked at Hiyori.
"Now, Kozuki-san, you don't want anything to happen to your granddaughter, do you?"
"You can tell what'll happen just by looking at me, right?"
Watching Hiyori's despairing yet surprised expression, Kozuki Sukiyaki finally snapped.
"Let her go! Do whatever you want to me!"
"Like hell! Pfft!"
