If you think of something, just do it. Now that he could fly, nowhere was off-limits—what a great feeling!
But first, he needed to check in on his so-called "brother from another mother." Dressrosa wasn't too far from here, right?
The Donquixote Family had a way with Devil Fruits. If push came to shove, maybe he could ask Doflamingo for help?
In Dressrosa, Doflamingo and his top family members finally let out a sigh of relief as they watched a massive Suzaku descend from the sky, transforming into Jack before their eyes.
"Oi, Jack! What the hell is going on with you?" Diamante exclaimed, still on guard.
"I thought an enemy had infiltrated Dressrosa!"
"Wait... You..."
Doflamingo wiped the sweat from his forehead, his expression shifting to confusion as he examined Jack more closely.
"Jack, did you just...?" Trebol asked hesitantly, his snot dripping dangerously close to the ground.
Jack's transformation had stunned everyone in the Donquixote Family. It was common knowledge that a person could only eat one Devil Fruit—yet Jack had just shattered that belief.
"Oi, Trebol! Get away from me!" Jack snapped, sidestepping to avoid the snot-covered man. He took a seat across from Doflamingo and spoke in a low voice.
"It was an accident. Due to some... personal circumstances, I can consume multiple Devil Fruits."
Doflamingo adjusted his sunglasses, clearly intrigued. "Oh? Sounds like quite the story."
Jack ignored his curiosity and continued. "I'm here for two reasons. First, Kaido is growing impatient about the artificial Devil Fruits. Second, I need a favor."
Doflamingo leaned forward, a smirk tugging at his lips. "A favor? Coming from you, it must be something interesting."
Jack shook his head. "It shouldn't be too hard for you. The Donquixote Family runs auction houses all over the world and has a knack for acquiring Devil Fruits."
He narrowed his eyes. "I need you to find me a Devil Fruit that enhances perception. Preferably something rare."
Jack paused before adding with a smirk, "If it's like Kaido's, even better."
Doflamingo blinked in stunned silence.
Jack chuckled. "Relax, I was joking."
Then, he leaned in and whispered, "If you manage to find a Fruit that satisfies me, I'll do you a favor in return—whether that means eliminating an enemy or handling something troublesome for you."
Jack straightened up. "Though, to be honest, I'd rather just pay with money."
Beneath his sunglasses, Doflamingo's eyes gleamed. A sharp, eerie laugh echoed through the room.
"Fufufufu... Now that hurts, Jack. Talking about money like that—it wounds our friendship."
He turned to Trebol. "You heard him. Get on it. Fast."
Trebol nodded eagerly. "Leave it to me, Doffy!"
The women of Dressrosa were truly something—bold, passionate, and very, very forward.
That night, after indulging in food and drink, Jack found himself dragged off by a group of towering, curvaceous women.
He struggled at first, determined to resist, but Doflamingo had likely slipped something into his drink. His limbs felt weak, his body sluggish.
As his vision blurred, he sighed in resignation, a single drop of drool escaping his lips.
The next morning, Jack devoured over a hundred kidney dishes before taking off again. Even as he soared through the sky, his flight was wobbly.
Last night had been... brutal.
As he ascended over the Grand Line, Jack remained cautious, steadily flying higher to conceal himself.
The G-3 Marine base was nearby. According to Kaido, finding Garp depended entirely on luck—the man was always taking leave. Jack could only hope his luck was good this time.
After several days of flight, something unusual appeared in his Observation Haki—a small sky island teeming with life.
Curious, Jack flapped his wings and ascended.
Breaking through the clouds, he landed at the island's edge, marveling at nature's handiwork.
To his left, the endless sea stretched out below, while in the distance, winged fishermen hauled up their catches.
Before him lay a lush forest, its trees and flowers unlike anything he'd seen before. The air was thinner than on the ground, but it didn't bother him.
Jack took a step forward when—
"Watch out!"
A warning shout rang out.
A massive, pure-white tiger with no markings pounced toward Jack—but upon seeing his towering frame, it froze mid-action.
"Big White! Stand down!"
A young man with wings and a bow emerged from the trees. He took one look at Jack's absurdly thick arms and stood there, stunned.
"Uh..." The boy hesitated.
Jack cleared his throat, flashing what he thought was a reassuring smile.
"Relax, I may look ugly, but I'm actually very gentle."
The boy's face went pale.
"Aaaah! Monster!"
"ROAR!"
Both the boy and the tiger turned and bolted.
"Hey! Why are you running?! I said I'm a good guy!"
As he chased them, a group of tall, muscular men with wings emerged ahead.
The leader, over three meters tall and armed with a spear, looked imposing.
The boy and tiger took refuge behind them.
Jack slowed his pace.
"You're... a Blue Sea dweller?" the leader asked curiously.
To Jack's surprise, the man's tone was welcoming. After studying him for a moment, he extended a hand.
"I'm Jerry, the town chief here."
Jack's eye twitched. "Wait... Jerry? Like Tom and Jerry?"
He quickly shook it off. "Nice to meet you. I'm Jack."
As they exchanged greetings, Jack glanced around. More and more sky islanders were gathering, their gazes filled with curiosity rather than hostility.
It seemed they were a friendly bunch.
"So, this island... What's it called?" Jack asked.
Jerry grinned. "This is Birka. We're the residents of Birka Town."
He gestured for Jack to follow. "Come on, Blue Sea dweller! Let us give you a proper welcome!"
