The collision sent ripples of frost and sparks through the air that filled the space with a chilling, metallic tension as Ethan stabilised himself midair, wings spread wide.
Inwardly, though, Ethan was genuinely shocked as a realisation settled inside him that this golden ray attack was terrifyingly dangerous.
Even he, someone who possessed the Overlord grade talent in darkness and Legend grade talent in ice, did not have an attack that could unleash such overwhelming, lethal damage in a single, clean strike.
And what unsettled him even more was the nature of the golden ray itself.
It carried a metallic sharpness that felt unnatural and almost alive.
He had never heard or read of an elemental or magical attack that had the element of such sharp metallic power.
And this attack was not a one-time discharge that lost power after impact.
