Nick collected his thoughts. He already had a plan in his mind.
He said, "I got a call from the association staff. They said 100 rat beasts weren't enough. You need to kill at least 50 more beasts to convince them."
"On top of that, you have to spend at least two nights in the field," he added.
Jeremy frowned. Now he understood where the bad feeling came from. He gave it some thought. The mission description hadn't mentioned a time limit.
He realized that it would cause people to raise eyebrows. At the same time, he felt something was amiss.
