Max was quite harsh in his words. He didn't mince them. He wanted the young man to shut his mouth so that he wouldn't blackmail them again.
"Max, you are going too far. He wanted his share. That's all. I'm the one who promised to give him his share after the mission," Leader Norman said in a dissatisfied tone.
Hearing that, Max was taken aback. Then he realized he had spoken without knowing the situation. But he refused to accept his mistake.
He then said, "So, what? We have already used our share. Are you going to pay him with your own money?"
"What?" Jeremy uttered in surprise.
He knew they had cheated him out of his money. His mood was getting worse. He was afraid that a fight could break out.
Leader Norman had black lines on his forehead.
"Jeremy, I'll try to compensate you in the future. We have used the reward money," he said.
