The boar lunged toward Mu Chen, its tusks slicing through the air.
"Yue—now!" Ling shouted.
Yue picked up some loose rocks and threw them at the boar's left side. The creature twisted sharply, trying to follow Mu Chen.
"Good! Keep it moving!" Ling barked.
The boar staggered slightly as its injured leg slipped on the uneven ground. Ling's eyes narrowed.
"Han Yi, Lei Feng! Behind it—push the ground under its back leg! Make it slide down the slope!"
Han Yi froze.
"…PUSH?! I'm too small to push a mountain pig!"
"Just do it! Quick!" Lei Feng yelled.
They both scrambled behind the boar, digging their heels into the dirt and shoving with all their strength.
The boar roared and lunged forward at Mu Chen, exactly where Ling wanted it to go. Its momentum carried it over the loosened soil.
"NOW!" Ling shouted.
The slope gave way under the boar's weight. Its back hooves slipped, and the beast tumbled down the incline, rolling into a cluster of rocks.
