I'm going to try and get out ahead of things here with an unofficial official thread. The Gonks have something real new to show the galaxy, it seems. There's a bunch of holo-vids from all of today's violence running around. But they aren't just the usual Hutt flatlines. Nah, there's something else in them, something... steel.
That's what the Gonks are calling it, at least. I think I heard 'Mekton' is the, like, real name, but steel... Yeah, steel captures them really well. Heavier than iron, different than chrome, they're steel.
Feel free to share any holo-vids you can record or find here. I'll start. This monstrous thing straight-up blew through a reinforced wall across from my apartment. Apparently, I was neighbors with a hiding slug without realizing it. I'm certainly not anymore, though...

I've been following all of the action here on Nar Shaddaa for a while now... And Night City keeps finding ways to leave me speechless (and wanting to get the kark over there to get in on the fun!)

@RZA-FromLevel2113 - Chrome is a wholly Night City phenomenon. Think prosthetics, and then forget everything you think you know about them. Night City takes them to a whole other level entirely. They've got chrome arms and legs, sure, but also chrome NEURAL INTERFACES, chrome INTERNALS, and chrome FULL CONVERSIONS.
Nowhere else in the galaxy does it like Night City. And now, it seems they're adding steel to their chrome.

@Fur7tress - As someone 'in the know' (and the closest thing to Gonk PR with Sasha preoccupied), I'll do you one better. Consider this an unofficially official 'leak'. They're all either Core Gonks or high up at Arasaka. And all of them are active tonight. Atom is determined to finish the last Hutts on the moon for this debut. He's aiming to show both the galaxy and the Hutts that his 'steel' means business.
