Chapter 7 - Lighting a Red Lantern.

"Ok, a psychopath appears the moment I come back, yeah this is sort of annoying" Feng sighed, he didn't want to fight such a person, but then again he had a strange craving. He wanted a challenge and the only challenge he completed without Mods is beating Minecraft in Hardcore mode and only died to a creeper.

And he would not, he was not insane, he was weak and trash at the moment, his armor ain't strong enough to fight Villains and he technically could revive after death in his Minecraft world but he will not risk such a thing.

He just turned around. But that was not appropriate as the person laughing like a maniac looked at Feng. "Hey?!! You with the crown and cape are you a hero?."

Feng paused, then sighed, he turned around and gave this person a look...seeing his outfit, he realized it was a red lantern. "Nope, this is just how I dress, please ignore me and go along with your destruction while you wait for superman to break you."

The red lantern snorted. "Superman is weak and with my new power I shall rid all heroes in the world and you shall be the first even if you aren't one."

The red lantern manifested a fist and aimed it straight at Feng, Feng having no choice at all immediately used his shield, blocking the fist from hitting him at all. Shields were op but they break too fast.

That single attack dropped his shields durability to half. Feng frowned and then summoned his diamond sword in his right hand while he held the shield on the left. "I already told you, I'm not a hero and you should go after real heroes. Also isn't fighting me from above kind of unfair."

The red lanterns eyes glowed red with anger, how could someone who claimed not being a hero, summon a weapon and bloch his attack. "You dare try to trick me?!!. I'll kill you bastard?!!!."!

Feng really did not want to fight, he'll he would probably die...well he atleast has a totem so...a second life is all he can get.

The red lantern dashed towars him with a fist ready to land on him. Feng blocked with the shield which broke upon contact and then he immediately slashed at the lanterns eyes.

The blade met resistance—not flesh, but something harder, like reinforced glass or burning plasma. Sparks flew. The red lantern reeled back, roaring in fury, and for a split second, Feng saw what looked like a cracked visor covering the villain's eyes.

"Huh," Feng muttered. "So you do wear protection. Didn't take you for the careful type."

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!" the red lantern screamed, his rage swelling like a physical aura. The air around him shimmered crimson, and his gauntlets flared with molten energy.

An iron sword appeared on his left arm and used it to block the punch sending him back a few steps. Then another punch came towards him but Feng dodged then ran behind a building before the lantern could get to him. He had lost about four hearts from that simple encounter.

Feng hissed through his teeth, leaning against the cold wall of the building, trying to catch his breath. Four hearts down, no shield, sword half durability, and no backup. He peeked around the corner just in time to see the red lantern float above the street like a hellish beacon.

"I hate this," Feng muttered. "Why can't the psychos ever skip me and go for the actual overpowered people?"

The red lantern's voice echoed like thunder, distorted by the rage energy flooding from his ring. "You think you can run from me?! I will reduce this entire block to ASH if you don't show yourself!"

He took a deep breath, whispered "Screw it," and stepped back into the open.

"I'm not a hero," he called out again, walking into the center of the street. "But I am the guy who beat the Ender Dragon on hardcore mode and if you think you can defeat me...well at this moment you probably could, but that's not the point?!!."

'Hey, create a creative world and open up a portal when I say so'

[...Very Well]

The red lantern dashed at him again but feng dodged and used his diamond sword to slash across his back. The red lantern didn't expect that and he was surprised that the blade cut through his lantern suit, almost touching his skin.

Feng turned around thrusting his iron sword at the him but wad blocked by a weak film of energy. "Hey, don't underestimate my battle sense. It has been honed from years of killing mobs, my equipment is just weak at the current moment."

The red lantern snarled, hovering just inches from the ground, clutching his side where the diamond sword had cut through. His red aura flared more violently now, flickering like a flame in a storm.

"You little worm," he spat. "You'll regret that scratch."

Feng took a shaky step back, sweat trickling down his neck. "Honestly, I regret most things I do. But at least this time I got some XP out of it."

The villain lunged forward again, this time with both hands engulfed in molten red plasma, forming twin hammers of pure rage. Feng jumped to the side, the concrete beneath his last position exploding into debris.

"[Now.]" Feng muttered under his breath.

[Opening portal...]

Reality behind Feng cracked open with a shimmering, cubic glow—like a Nether portal but warping with prismatic colors. The air shimmered with coding particles and faint sounds of Minecraft ambience—torches, ambient cave noise, and the distant growl of something unnatural.

Feng dove backward into the rift, feeling the strange shift from realism to pixelation grip his body and a warm UI appeared faintly in his vision: health bar, inventory, hotbar.

He was inside his creative world.

The red lantern followed instantly, forcing himself through the unstable rift, and stumbled onto a floating island with grass blocks, birch trees, and glowing lanterns hovering in midair.

"What the hell—?!" the red lantern looked around in confusion. "Where... what dimension is this?!"

Feng cracked his knuckles, his voice calm now. "Welcome to the Fourth Dimension, now then should I place [Weakness] on you, oh maybe even [Hunger], oh I know, I'll just inflict you with darkness."
