Cass should have known that he was going to be the meal. He should have realised it the moment the two men positioned themselves on either side of him once they had cleaned his body. Cleaned their bodies too, the warm steam from the water building condensation on the valleys and mountains of Cass' body. Dripping back down once his sweat had mixed enough with the steam coming up.
