Alaric's face turned pale, and the veins on the back of his hands tightened. Before he could react, Officer continued, "It's an adult male, around 32-35 years old, about 187 cm tall. The cause of death wasn't drowning, but a chest injury."
When he heard it was a male body, Alaric's expression softened.
"Did she find anything else?"
"There's no sign of anyone else for now. If we find any clues, I'll let you know immediately."
After hanging up the phone, Alaric felt like he was on an emotional rollercoaster.
Greg let out a sigh of relief. "Boss, you can rest easy now. Teacher Greene is fine. Even though we don't know the details, she must have been rescued."
Things seemed to be getting better, but Alaric still couldn't fully relax.
