He planted a quick, tender kiss on her lips, then began to gently caress her hair before starting to pull back.
Delya sat up in a panic, her arms flying around his neck as she buried her face against his shoulder, clinging tightly. "No… don't go…"
Javier glanced down at her, gently pushing her back just enough to see her face. He smiled softly. "We don't need to rush things if you're not ready, Delya."
"Noooo!!!" She hugged him tighter, her body trembling as she buried her face deeper, her voice muffled with emotion. "It's… it's my fault…"
"It's not your fault. Don't worry, Delya," Javier said gently, his voice soothing.
