"How so?" Adelle glanced at Hewinia. "Do you think I'm deceiving you?"
"No! Of course not!" Hewinia shook her head nervously. "I'm just... surprised."
"Your surprise is normal," Adelle said. "Since it has nothing to do with you, Golden Note has always been an exception. No one has been able to compete with Golden Note."
At this, Adelle paused.
"But your family has never mentioned this to you? I thought they would at least make you a bit more cautious."
Hewinia realized she had seemingly given something away and discreetly sought to cover it up. "Indeed they mentioned it, but only in passing. Perhaps they don't see it as a big deal."
