A sleepless night.
At dawn, Lu Jun got up. The lingering aftertaste had yet to fade, a faint fragrance wafting about. He turned his head to look.
On the vanity sat a graceful figure. From bottom to top, her full, moon-round hips were plump and fair, her slender waist so delicate it seemed one could grasp it with one hand, outlining an exaggerated, alluring curve.
Ding Yumian had her back to him. She had gathered her smooth, waterfall-like black hair, letting it cascade down her jade-like back. Stunningly beautiful, she exuded a faintly mature charm, having already transformed from a young girl into a woman.
Lu Jun stared for a long time, his heart stirring. Unable to resist, he got up and stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Ding Yumian from behind.
Her cheeks were like peach blossoms. She made no sound.
Lu Jun, however, showed no restraint and pressed in close.
Time passed. When the sun had climbed to mid-sky, Ding Yumian had no choice but to drive Lu Jun away. Her pretty face was flushed, her body weak and limp, if she did not urge him to leave, she would truly be worn to death by this guy.
On the way through the academy, Lu Jun was still savoring it. The Life Element really was great. A physique at the Sixth Stage of Qi and Blood was no decoration at all—handling three people at once would still be more than enough.
The night before, while dual-cultivating, he had not forgotten to pass on several techniques.
The Parthenon Divine Soul's [Divine Seal Blessing] went without saying. It had already been bestowed upon Lu Mei and would certainly be given to Ding Yumian as well. The starting point was a threefold increase; how much could be absorbed depended on the individual.
He was quite optimistic about Ding Yumian. With her Psychic Disaster talent, the retained bonus would surely be considerable.
Ding Yumian had solidified Divine Seal Blessing on the Fire Element. Combined with her innate talent that doubled the attack range of Fire magic, the synergy was perfect.
Add to that the Flame Belle Jiang Feng whom Lu Jun knew, and the might of a Flame Goddess incarnation would likely surpass even Lu Mei's.
However, Ding Yumian needed a month to refine it. This was also why Lu Jun conveniently took his leave.
In addition, Lu Jun attempted to teach Ding Yumian two major techniques he had mastered in the Undead and Psychic elements.
He used the Calamity Talent of Death Domination to purify her fourth element, Undead, and taught Ding Yumian to condense a Faith Imprint of the Lifan Flower through the Psychic element.
What surprised Lu Jun was her exceptionally high receptiveness. The deathly aura brewing in her Undead element became increasingly pure, greatly enhancing the power of her Undead magic. As for Imagination Force, there was no need to elaborate, her Psychic Calamity talent was invincible, easily grasping human hearts and condensing seeds of faith.
"Ding Yumian's Heart-Pupil talent carries an extremely strong emotional contagion. Once it erupts, it could 'convert' an entire city in an instant. The Imagination Force gathered would be endless."
Lu Jun envisioned the scene and could not help but shiver.
Ding Yumian was far too compatible with the Lifan Flower technique. If her ending still became that of a vengeful banshee, the disaster she would unleash would be far more terrifying than in the original timeline.
He murmured softly, "As long as I'm here, that won't happen."
In the short term, Ding Yumian's combat power would increase drastically, though she needed time to digest it.
Finally, Lu Jun did not forget that her Shadow Element could also be implanted with a dark substance—[Night Fiend]—though this required Feng Zhoulong to personally refine it.
"I'll go another time when I'm free."
Lu Jun pondered, stopping at the academy gates. After being chased out by Ding Yumian, he instead found himself with nothing to do.
Since he had finished digesting opportunities like the Divine Soul, Star Ocean Heavenly Vein, Void Altar, and so on, the remaining four elements faced extreme difficulty breaking through to Super-Tier. Cultivating hard for the moment would not have much effect.
Moreover, he had not gone back all night, yet his sister Lu Mei had not sent a single message, as if she had completely forgotten him.
"Next, I might as well focus on the two newly awakened Super-Tier elements."
He pondered. The Death Element, though only at the Basic Tier, had already provided immense assistance. Combined with the supreme treasure [Death Medallion], it had given birth to two Sub-Monarch undead. Life, needless to say, had greatly boosted his survival and vitality.
Beyond that, Lu Jun also began studying the Super-Tier Psychic magic [True Dreamscape]. After the in-depth discussion with Ding Yumian last night, he already had some ideas.
Ding Yumian's Super-Tier Psychic leaned more toward illusions, paired with her Heart-Pupil Calamity ability.
His own Imagination Force, however, could do anything. Using it in the same way as ordinary Super-Tier Psychic magic would be a waste. It would be best to coordinate with the other seven elements and fuse them together.
"First-Level True Dreamscape · Peach Blossom Spring?"
Lu Jun conceived the idea, constructing a large-scale dream realm that was both real and illusory.
In normal times, he could use the Space Element's void passages to draw in the souls of marked individuals, serving as a hidden gathering place detached from the world, similar to a virtual space.
Once battle erupted, by integrating Curse, Death, Water, Summoning, and multiple other elements, it could mutate into a Dark Peach Blossom Spring, its lethality greatly increased.
"Most crucially, it can contend with the rules of an [Elemental Forbidden Domain]."
Lu Jun's spirits lifted, his imagination running wild. At the High-Tier stage, he had mastered Domains in six major elements. When fighting opponents of the same tier, he always suppressed them first with Domains, winning without fail.
But as he advanced to Super-Tier, each element's control sublimated into Transcendent Power. Domains became useless at the same level, unable to affect the operation of Transcendent Power at all.
Only something above Domains—Forbidden Domains, could restore absolute suppression.
Lu Jun knew he would eventually face Supreme Mages who wielded Heavenly-Seed power. Before obtaining Elemental Heavenly Seeds himself, it was best to devise a countermeasure in advance.
Using the plasticity of Super-Tier Psychic magic as a foundation, embedding six elemental Domains and unifying them into one, this might not be inferior to a Forbidden Domain.
"Back to the apartment to think it through carefully."
Lu Jun knew in his heart that this would undoubtedly be a massive undertaking, and that True Dreamscape possessed limitless potential. Once he acquired a Fusion Magic method and a Water Element Heavenly Seed Forbidden Domain, it would undergo further sublimation.
However, just as Lu Jun was about to rush home impatiently to begin experimenting, a sudden psychic sensation struck him. With a thought, his consciousness leapt across dozens of kilometers, witnessing a scene.
Seeing this, he let out a cold laugh. "So it's these people. Time to wrap things up."
Elsewhere, inside a hotel in Hangzhou City, the four-man rogue group was temporarily staying there.
The Silk-Clad Man, the Short Man, and Gold Tooth, three Super-Tier mages, stood by the bed, their expressions grim as they stared at Bashalio, who lay atop it in silver leather.
Bashalio was in agony. His upper body was covered in blood, and when his eyes were open, they were nothing but blood-filled hollows, terrifying to behold.
The Silk Demon Man said impatiently, "What do we do now? We're in a foreign land—where are we supposed to find a healing mage? Even if we do, blindness involves limb regeneration. There aren't many healing mages capable of that. In my opinion, we should abandon him."
"Agreed," Gold Tooth said in a low voice. "I just received news from the East Sea Magic Association. A clue to the Nine Provinces Totem has appeared. Our people have cornered her. We can't delay, let's head over immediately."
The Short Man had no objections. The three quickly reached a unanimous decision and left Bashalio behind.
As for avenging their companion? None of them mentioned it.
It was simply too bizarre. Bashalio, a three-element Super-Tier mage, had been heavily injured without warning, and they could not find a single trace. Their memories were missing, it was terrifying the more one thought about it.
The three quietly left the hotel, leaving only Bashalio, the leader of the Silver Ornaments Society, barely clinging to life, struggling to survive.
Sensing his companions' departure, hatred surged skyward in his heart, directed both at the Silk-Clad Man and the others, and at the mastermind behind it all. He roared, "Give me a chance, and I'll tear you to pieces!"
Not long after, in his hazy state, Bashalio's psychic perception detected a figure standing at the head of the bed, filling him with terror.
