Here in the dark forest, everything seems quiet and deserted but that was just a facade to mask the occupants of the forest
In a well-lit cave,some people could be seen standing as if in a congregation with purple cloaks over their bodies and faces from being seen
Right in front are 3 individuals their appearance was more pronounced than the others. It looked like they were performing some kind of ritual
Suddenly,a bright light shone revealing a young man with long black hair and an eye-patch on his left eye. This was Zendesk,one of the heralds of Bael and also a powerful warlock
After the Demon of Death defeat, his five main followers widely known as the Heralds of Death were scattered across the realm,all in hiding to avoid execution except from Erasmus
During those times each has been doing his best to regain his strength and return their master. This is when Zendesk founded his own cult,The Orient
They were a group of supernaturals who view themselves as a society with the goal deriving knowledge from the darkness and harnessing it for their goals
Initially,Zendesk created the cult for his own amusement but became serious and decided to share his arcane knowledge to the members who were ever willing to learn. The cult was limited to Witches but was later opened to all willing supernatural
For decades,The Orient grew in shadows, raiding ancient ruins to get more knowledge and led by Zendesk,one of the versatile and dangerous magic user in supernatural history they gained dark powers. They have also unearthed ancient history and have bred powerful individuals
Zendesk mostly used them to get ancient things he couldn't get alone but after the Heralds of Death were reunited he decided to use them to bring back his master
Right now he has been summoned by his followers,he looked at him with satisfaction on his face
"I see you have kept up the good work as I have told you. I see you have acquired the three Vermix Talisman I asked",Zendesk said "That is good,now for your reward"
Zendesk is known to always give his followers rewards whenever they complete a designated task. This was to boost their morale and the gifts are also known to be rare treasures making them more powerful
"Carlian,Rashmi,Konan,Seville and Lystra, come forward for your reward",Agloval,one of the senior members called,those five were actually the ones given the mission of retrieving the Talismans
"I always keep my promises",Zendesk said and a series of items appeared on the altar. On the signal of the leader the five acolytes went to pick one among the various items on that altar
The first to go was Konan,he was a Lycan on getting to the altar,he picked a glowing fruit and devoured it without hesitation. His body immediately expanded while two horns grew from his head as his eyes glowed with unearthly power
The fruit he devoured was made from the heart of a powerful magical monster
Carlian chose a helmet with flaming patterns since he was a Firebender
"What a good choice there kid,that helmet once belonged to the first War King of the Fire Nation",Zendesk said and everyone gasped and shocked to how Zendesk got his hand on such treasure
On putting on the helmet, Carlian felt his power increase by a thousandfold, everyone could feel the heat radiating from him
Rashmi,on the other hand chose a sword which had strange markings on it. He was a Wizard but he loved physical combat
The sword is known as Black Torch,a sword created using the souls of a thousand Demons and the bone of Tanaris,a powerful beast from the Night Realm
Seville,who was a Vampire picked a vial containing a black liquid and drank it. Immediately she drank it,the burning sensation of power surged through her
The liquid she drank was actually the essence of a Strigoi,a vampiric spirit known to drain it's victims with just a look,the strigoi is also known for its gruesome way of killing it's victims
This boosted her vampire abilities by a large margin granting her powers she didn't have before
Now it was Lystra's turn to pick,she chose a Grimoire with a strange sigil which pulsed with otherworldly power
"Young lady,do you what that Grimoire is called?",Zendesk asked Lystra who had no idea of the Grimoire she picked
"Is their any issue,my Lord?",Ophak, an elder of the cult asked as he bowed slightly looking at Zendesk who had a surprised look on his face
"Not really,it's just that the Grimoire she is carrying is the famed Book of Souls", Immediately Zendesk said everyone was stunned including Lystra herself who looked at the Grimoire with shock
After the the choosing,Zendesk commended them and implored to keep up their work. He left immediately through a portal

Here in the Beyond Mountains,the Heralds of Death can be seen discussing on their next movements since they can't move freely
The Beyond Mountains is the only place they can stay without any fear of being hunted or tracked since they were fugitives
A portal opened surprising them as they all prepared for an attack but it was Zendesk who walked out
"So how was what you went for?",Neiza asked,Zendesk immediately placed the three Talismans on the table
"Wow am surprised. Your cult really proved themselves useful",Erasmus said
"So what's next?",Azrael asked and looked at Rraezin
"We need to get these Talismans to Xynlia",he said and Neiza frowned as she heard the name "Xynlia"
"Is she our only option?", she asked
"Yes she is and stop being jealous",Zendesk said and Neiza scoffed and left
"You shouldn't have made her angry",Erasmus said
"She was already getting in my nerves",Zendesk said and went to meet Rraezin who was currently engrossed in his thoughts

In the living room,the 3 kids are seen watching TV as they discuss about the Academy Benjin mentioned
"What do you guys think about the Academy?",Rayna,the Dragon girl asked
"To be honest,I don't believe them. They've been talking about the Academy for a while and we've not even seen it",Nick said while Rayna looked at Dan waiting for his answer
"Well,I can't say much since we've not seen the Academy",he replied
"I see you are enjoying yourselves", Rachael's voice rang out shocking them
"Well I just came to inform you that the Academy resumes 2 months from now,so you should start preparing",she said and immediately disappeared in a blinding light
"Did you think she heard us?",Rayna asked silently
"From my perspective,she definitely heard us",Dan replied

Here in Megga Roth's own fortress, soldiers are seen patrolling the area day and night, shifting positions simultaneously
A quick silhouette zaps over the fortress fence and keeps moving until it reaches the main castle were it tries to teleport but finds it difficult,unknown to her she already set off an alarm
The silhouette moves around the palace until it finds a open space and entered. The inside of the palace was well lit with guards moving at intervals
A ray of light hit the silhouette revealing its face,a young lady with short hair, wearing a blue cloak with a hood. She looked around, seeing no one she tried to move when a lightning barrier surrounded her
"You picked the wrong place to rob,young girl",Keturah echoed stunning the young thief who was shaken to the bones
"Take her to the dungeon and make sure she is duely punished"Keturah commanded the guards who grabbed the young girl

Here in Megga Roth's courtroom,the their is seen on her knees ready for judgement. She is surrounded by soldiers who are on orders to take her head if she tries anything funny
"What's your name,Witch?",Urriah asked,the young Witch looked up with fear all over her face
"Alyssa",she said with shivers in her voice. The Red Council were also present to witness her execution
After she was proved guilty by Keturah who was in charge of the Castle's defense,Megga Roth decided to sentence her to death by being eaten by his pets
As the guards were moving Alyssa to the place of her death,a voice interrupted them
"My Lord,I have a favour to ask concerning this Witch",Catoram's voice sounded as he entered the courtroom
"And what is it?",Megga Roth asked
"I have been looking for a perfect subject to test my new formula on and I believe she will be useful",Catoram said with his head bowed
"If so,you can have her",Megga Roth said and stood up, signifying his final verdict
"Thank you my Lord",Catoram said and immediately a blue rope appeared around Alyssa as she was lead away by Catoram to be used as a lab rat

Here in Jacque's room he is seen meditating when a knock sounded on his door
"You should take a break. You've been at it since morning",His father said as he walked into his son's room
Jacque has actually been trying to comprehend his demonic energy after witnessing how proficient his cousins are with it
Some are affiliated with elements,some use their demonic energy to fuel arts while some use it as a destructive force
"I can't,am the poorest in demonic energy control among my cousins,it's so embarrassing", Jacque said with a sad face and his father chuckled
"Okay,why don't we spar?",Mr Warren said, shocking Jacque
"Spar?! Are you sure?",Jacque said, fearing that he might hurt his Dad but Mr Warren in no ordinary man
"Yes,and don't worry you can't hurt me",Mr Warren said with a smile "meet me in the training room in 5 minutes"
Mr Warren left immediately to prepare for the sparing session with his son. Mr Warren is no longer human but he tries to hide it from his son
⚡⚡⚡ TRAINING ROOM ⚡⚡⚡
The training room was something out of the ordinary as it was fully equipped and reinforced for battle. It had various weapons and was sturdy enough to withstand the surges during battle
The door to the training room opened revealing Jacque who was cladded in a battle suit, meanwhile his father has already arrived few minutes before him
"Is that your weapon?",Jacque asked pointing at the sword in his father's hand
"Yes,since am sparring with you I decided to use a weapon. Don't think it is a mere sword",Mr Warren said and the sword glowed brightly
"Let's start",Mr Warren declared and swung his sword, releasing a decimating wave of energy towards his son,who swiftly dodged the energy which created a large crack on the wall
Jacque sensing the seriousness of his father immediately prepared himself for a counterattack
DEMON ART:FLAMES OF TORMENT
Jacque chanted and stretched his hand forward releasing red raging flames towards his father who immediately created a forcefield around himself
DEMON ART : OBSIDIAN SPEAR OF WRATH
Without giving his father breathing space, Jacque casted another art as black crystalline spears appeared and rushed toward his father who smirked
"Wanna play dirty he-he-he",Mr Warren snickered as he destroyed the spears with a swing of his sword
ICE MAGIC: FROZEN WASTELAND
Mr Warren chanted and the whole training room was covered in ice.
"Did he just cast magics,and even released magical essence",Jacque wondered as he looked at his father with searching eyes
Suddenly all his senses screamed danger as an ice spear was launched at him from the ground. Jacque immediately jumped evading the spear but was surprised when multiple ice spikes covered the ground giving him no landing place
"What the fuck is he planning?",Mr Warren squinted his eyes as he watched Jacque manuover himself in the air
"Let's get this party started",Jacque smirked and released a vast amount of demon energy which swept through the room, destroying all the ice
"Hmmm nice truck",Mr Warren said as he saw his son's trick. Jacque immediately created a sword from his Demonic Energy and charged against his father who also raised his sword,poised for battle
The sword fight between them slugged for a long time till Jacque realised he could not match his father's swordplay and immediately backed down
DEMON ART: DEMON CHAINS
Jacque chanted and black smoky chains appeared and swirled towards his father. Jacque had a smug smile on his face as he believed he already won
ARCANIST SPHERE OF PROTECTION
A bright sphere appeared, totally surrounding Mr Warren who smirked. Immediately the chains touched the sphere,they dissolved into smokes giving Jacque a complete shock
ARCANE MAGIC: DOMINION SEAL
Mr Warren chanted and a magical seal symbol appeared below Jacque, before he could do anything a wave of agonising pain racked through his body
"AAAAARRRRGGHHHHHH",Jacque cried in pain as his head and other parts threatened to explode when suddenly everything stopped and he saw his father coming close to him
"You lose",Mr Warren said as he helped his son who had a confused and shocked look on his face
"How are you so well versed in magical combat and how did you even get that sword?",Jacque shot out questions to his father who chuckled in return
"Well, it's a little price you pay for getting married to a Demon, and also that sword was a prize from a battle I engaged in once to save your life",Mr Warren said, stunning Jacque with the revelation which shook him,he looked at his father with a searching face
After Jacque looked back,Mr Warren's eyes immediately flashed blue and a mark flickered on his forehead before disappearing almost immediately
"How were you able to manifest magical essence when you are not a Witch or Magical Monster?",Jacque asked his father as he turned around after taking off his shoes and cleaning up his face
"That's all thanks to this ring",Mr Warren said as he removed a silver ring from his hand
"It provided the magical essence I used"
Jacque was dumbfounded when he saw the ring
"I see but you really know your way around magics and stuff. Am surprised",Jacque said in amusement and his father smiled as he dropped the sword into the weapon compartment
Well let's forget that and go for lunch,am really hungry after all the fight",Mr Warren said and Jacque nodded in agreement as he followed his father out for a wonderful lunch
