Seeing that there didn't seem to be any sense of hostility here, Abel let his arms droop and swung them back and forth, as if exhaustion had suddenly overwhelmed him. When he saw that bench, he sat on it without thinking, leaning back on the comfortable bench with a groan, finding it surprisingly soft.
His body wasn't particularly tired, but mentally he was exhausted, or perhaps jaded.
Within the vast interior of the building, Abel's voice of talking to himself echoed.
"I don't know what's going on lately. It seems like my energy drains quickly, and I can't concentrate on anything... Ah, could it be because I'm getting older? I heard humans reach a certain age and go through menopause, could it be that I'm also..."
