In the ancient times when the Great Demon still walked the earth, human settlements often eked out an existence in the narrow gaps between Magic Creatures.
But even in such simple survival, there was a vast difference between people. In the face of the world's malice and the terrifying Great Demon, some tribes, much like the Ancient Hero, refused to yield and bravely resisted the Magic Creatures. Others chose to bow their heads, humbly seeking survival, worshiping the Magic Creatures as divine beings.
They built walls and erected sanctuaries in the territories of the Magic Creatures, groveling at the feet of the Great Demon. They confined their own tribes to Hell for a secluded corner of survival.
However, as time passed and the world changed, the city-states that once worshipped the Cursed Magic Creatures as gods were eventually buried beneath the loess.
