The Vajra Body couldn't completely immunize against the Lightning from the Ocean Goddess, but it could reduce part of the damage, thus Leon wasn't seriously hurt... even without damage reduction, given the many Heavenly Immortal Pills he had consumed, plus the Bone Shedding and Rebirth, taking a Lightning strike wasn't much of a problem.
Even so, Leon's heart was in turmoil for a simple reason: it had been too long since he had bled, he almost forgot what pain felt like. The long-lost pain ruthlessly pierced his arrogant pride. He thought that as long as he had Mana, he was invincible, but it turned out he just hadn't encountered a strong opponent.
Is this the wrath of a god?
Leon stood on the coast, looking at the Ocean Goddess with an unprecedentedly serious expression.
