The extra dozens of points came from the reward for exterminating the Snake Servants of Xinglong Manor.
Except for the Snake Mother's clone, which is a 'Dark Creature', yielding no kill reward, the general Snake Servants did provide rewards—although all of them had consumed the "Elevation Pill" infused with the Snake Mother's breath. This gave them a certain degree of mutation but they still belonged to the "Alien Species".
