"Invade a Lord? Who do you want to invade?"
The Lord's expression became serious. Missions, by their nature, tend to be more difficult the simpler they're described.
Although he was still playfully considering squeezing some benefits from the other party, he would never assume that a task personally undertaken by two high-tier individuals would be simple.
Yet he was also somewhat puzzled.
The two high-tier individuals have considerable Combat Power. Why not face the enemy directly?
Even though Paradise rules ostensibly protect them against arbitrary interference from the Starry Sky People.
In reality, such protection is laughable.
He himself had seen starry contracts issued to mercenaries in past instances; with the capabilities of two high-tier individuals, there's no way they couldn't sneak in.
And once inside, with their strength, what enemy could possibly block their path?
Either it's an enemy of similar high-tier strength, or perhaps…
