Without saying more, a range of 33 kilometers still leaves the Empire Army's currently active artillery in the dust.
Not to mention ultra-light howitzers like the AL-100A, even the ZS-86R with a 45-caliber barrel can only achieve an effective range of just over 20 kilometers with regular shells. It requires rocket-boosted range extenders to exceed 33 kilometers, and the Empire Army similarly dislikes using rocket extenders.
Obviously, against the 2S7, the AL-100A doesn't stand a chance.
In fact, this is the main reason why the Fan Army set up their artillery positions beyond 30 kilometers.
At this distance, the 2S7 can cover the entire field airport, while the AL-100A deployed near the airstrip can't reach the 2S7.
As for the PH-300B, even if it can reach 70 kilometers with ordinary rockets, it's not of much value.
