As soon as Qin Fan finished speaking, Wei Shuying's angry voice rang out.
"Mom, what is it?" A cold glint flashed deep in his eyes as Qin Fan feigned surprise.
Hearing this, Qin Chu fell silent, his face twitching with a mixture of struggle and complex, interwoven resentment.
"I've looked into it," Wei Shuying recounted. "The Qin family really did get involved, but not to help us. They wanted to pressure those departments into holding up our applications and approvals. For some unknown reason, however, those departments withstood the pressure and approved everything anyway!"
