Klein handed him a bottle directly, and the Vice President drank nearly half of it in one go without even looking at the label. The strong liquor burned like cold fire down his throat, and he realized his old partner was right; sometimes, a few drinks can make you feel so much better.
"Hehehe, what if the reporters catch you?" the President laughed, "Vice President Gaius publicly drinking the night before the election?"
"Who the hell cares," Gaius continued drinking. They were standing on the balcony of the President's Mansion, where the sky was crowded with colorful streaks, muddled like a clumsy impressionist painter's canvas.
