The Northern Territory Alliance is a force composed of the Six Sects. Although this force can resist the Great Sect of the Northern Territory, it is also filled with some internal conflicts of interest, and these conflicts may cause the Six Sects to break apart.

This instance of the alliance meeting is held at the Taiyin Heavenly Sect, atop the Taiyin Divine Mountain, where the Six Sect Masters will be present, along with the so-called arguments and exchanges.
Of course, the so-called arguments and exchanges are a display of strength by each sect, allowing them to gain an advantage in the allocation of interests.
To put it most bluntly, it's a showcase of the power of each sect's Daoist traditions to gain an advantage during the distribution of benefits.
