Even though he had never encountered such a situation before,
Ronald had read his fair share of adventure novels and seen quite a few horror films.
Even this one small detail,
he could not possibly fail to guess what was happening before him.
Holding the sword with one hand, pointing it at the last standing puppet, Ronald spoke with certainty,
"Lumir, there's no need to hide yourself."
"I can see."
"..."
After Ronald spoke, the room fell silent again.
On one side stood the motionless puppet, faintly enveloping the area behind it, while on the other side was Ronald, his gaze unruffled as if he had no doubts about the matter.
The silence between them lasted a few seconds.
Finally, it was Lumir who couldn't bear it any longer.
It was the puppet Ronald had noticed; that puppet actually opened its mouth and spoke in Lumir's voice,
"Ronald... how did you figure it out?"
Ronald responded sarcastically without hesitation,
"I'm not hearing things, am I?"
