In the time that followed, the Blood Phoenix was responsible for holding back the Flood Dragon. Facing the attacks from the Blood Phoenix, the eyeless Flood Dragon felt angry though helpless, as it couldn't see anything and could only let the Blood Phoenix attack.
Liu Hun stayed on the back of the Blood Phoenix, occasionally using his long knife to strike the Flood Dragon. Soon, the Flood Dragon was covered in wounds, yet Liu Hun and the Blood Phoenix continued their assault.
"Not good, this guy is about to dive into the Molten Lava. Once it's inside, dealing with it will be much harder," the Blood Phoenix suddenly said anxiously to Liu Hun, just as they were getting excited in their fight.
"Get me closer to it!" Liu Hun's face slightly tensed upon hearing the Blood Phoenix.
The Blood Phoenix understood what Liu Hun wanted to do. It was risky, but they had no other choice. If the Flood Dragon escaped, the inner core they desired would be lost.
