He glanced at Madol, and Madol's expression showed a momentary confusion, then it became somewhat serious. He didn't even have time to stop Greggs from saying, "Mr. Lance, I'd like to discuss a business deal with you..."
"Shut up!"
Madol glared at him, "You shouldn't talk about this!"
Greggs didn't look at him, instead, his eyes sparkled as he looked at Lance. Lance was a bit unclear about what they were up to, and he remained silent for a while.
"I trust Madol immensely; he protected me during a crisis. If he thinks your actions are inappropriate, I will give you some money. You can take your chances here or arrange for someone to send you back to the Empire."
This statement forced Greggs to look at Madol, who was glaring at him, but he showed no fear, "This is the Young General's wish."
The mention of "Young General" slightly softened Madol's expression, and Lance became more interested in these stories.
