A short elderly woman, comforted by her daughter, wiped her tears and quickly greeted Lance as she saw him approaching.
Compared to the elderly woman's casual manner, her daughter seemed more restrained, simply nodding and then standing behind her mother.
Burton came over and stood beside Lance, "The one who was robbed is old Mr. Hampton, who lives on this street; here are his wife and daughter."
