Lance called up some people and drove towards Priscia District. On the way, he suddenly burst into laughter for no apparent reason, which always made Elvin turn to look at him.
"What's so funny?"
"Mind sharing?"
Lance lit a cigarette, took a drag, and chuckled again, "I find it quite amusing. Back then, we were collecting debts for others."
"Now, it's our turn to help others dodge debts. Isn't it interesting?"
Elvin was taken aback, then also smiled, "It is quite amusing, actually. When I suddenly think about it, it hasn't really been that long, but it feels like a great deal of time has passed."
He thought of something and began to laugh, "Actually, it's all Ethan's fault. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have had all these issues."
As he laughed, Lance sighed, "Without this incident, who knows what we'd be doing now."
"We might still be looking for a path to success. But that path is not so easy to navigate; each one seems good, but in fact, they're all dead ends."
