The crew was in a very complicated situation because water was entering the room and the Bananawani were coming in.
Vivi, who was the only one not in the cell, was trying to escape to get help, but it wasn't going well due to the Bananawani. Just as she was about to escape, Crocodile attacked her.
"VIVI!" Luffy shouted as Crocodile slammed her into the ground.
"Stop doing stupid things!" Crocodile yelled.
The water was getting closer and slowly started filling the room while Vivi lay unconscious on the floor, bleeding.
"VIVI, WAKE UP!" Luffy shouted, trying to wake her up.
"If you care so much about your nakamas, then you can all die together. The water will soon fill the Bananawani's lair and this room. If you'd like, I can also bring that arrogant Mr. Prince here. I hope you don't mind him being a corpse. Kuhahaha!"
Crocodile left the room laughing while Luffy watched him go, feeling furious and frustrated.
"DAMN IT!" he shouted angrily.
Everyone began shouting at Vivi, trying to wake her as the Bananawani approached her.
Vivi managed to wake up, but the Bananawani was about to bite her.
She moved just in time to avoid the bite, but that didn't stop the Bananawani's attack.
"I have to do it... I need to find help," Vivi said, slightly injured.
The Bananawani attacked again but was interrupted when part of the ceiling collapsed on it, creating a huge cloud of dust.
"Did I make it to the right place?" asked Oliver as he emerged from the dust cloud.
"OLIVER!!" everyone shouted happily upon seeing their nakama.
"Yeah, I made it," Oliver said as he felt something move beneath him.
The Bananawani moved furiously, so Oliver jumped and got ready to attack.
"Bone-Crushing Air Fist!"
He delivered a downward punch that released a blast of air toward the Bananawani's head, blowing a hole through it and killing it instantly.
'It's pretty powerful... and with this Combat Style, I feel like I could learn how to use the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist,' Oliver thought excitedly.
"Oliver-san, I'm so glad you came," Vivi said, looking at him.
"Yeah, sorry for being so late," Oliver replied, noticing Vivi was bleeding from her forehead.
"Oliver! Free us!" Luffy shouted.
"Good thing you made it!" Usopp said, relieved.
"On it," Oliver replied, helping Vivi to her feet first.
Just then, more Bananawani entered the room.
"Where's the key?" Oliver asked, even though he already knew where it should be.
"One of those crocodiles ate it!" Usopp said, pointing at the ones climbing up.
"Vivi, stay behind me," Oliver said, ready to fight—when suddenly, Sanji arrived.
"I'm here! Nami-san, Vivi-chan! Your prince has arrived!"
Sanji arrived expecting cheers, but when he looked ahead, he realized Oliver had already sent a Bananawani flying that had tried to bite Vivi.
"You're late, Sanji," Oliver said to him.
"How did you get here before me?!" Sanji yelled, frustrated that his grand entrance had been ruined.
"If you're done shouting, help me take down these lizards so we can free the others. One of them has the key to the cell," Oliver said.
"One of them has the key to free Nami-san?" Sanji asked, kicking one of the Bananawani into a wall. "Let's go!"
The two began taking down each of the Bananawani entering the room, while the water kept rising—until one of them spit out a wax sphere.
"The key to the cage?!" everyone asked, only to realize it wasn't.
"What is that?" Usopp asked.
"Freedom!" shouted Mr. 3 as he emerged from the sphere. "Water! Water is a miracle!"
Oliver quickly grabbed him by the head and lifted him into the air.
"You... make a key to free them," Oliver ordered.
"You're the one from Little Garden!" Mr. 3 said, trying to break free.
"I won't say it again," Oliver warned, squeezing his head tighter while charging Electro with his other hand.
"OKAY, OKAY! JUST STOP SQUEEZING MY HEAD!" Mr. 3 begged.
Oliver let him go, and Mr. 3 quickly went to open the cell.
"It's done," Mr. 3 said.
"Perfect."
Oliver grabbed him by the head again and kneed him in the stomach, knocking him out.
"FINALLY! CROCODILE!" Luffy shouted as he rushed out of the cell.
"We need to get out of here," Sanji said.
"I think that tunnel down there might lead us to Alubarna," Vivi said as the rest left the cell. "But soon, the whole place will be full of Bananawani."
Vivi looked at all the Bananawani that had entered, which had already been easily defeated by Luffy and Zoro.
"I still have a long way to go to be that strong," Oliver said, watching their power.
"And I couldn't even escape from one," Vivi said, in disbelief.
"No, it's just that their strength is abnormal, so don't think too hard about it," Usopp told her.
"LET'S GO, I CAN'T FIGHT AT FULL STRENGTH WHILE SOAKED!" Luffy shouted, feeling weaker.
'From what I can see, everyone's okay... that's good,' Oliver thought, relieved to see they were all relatively fine.
He looked at a wall and noticed it was cracking, so he took a deep breath.
"What are you doing?" Nami asked, and Oliver pointed at the wall.
"THE WALL IS COLLAPSING!"
"THE TUNNEL TOO!" Usopp shouted.
The water completely covered them, so everyone got moving to rescue the others.
Oliver quickly grabbed Vivi, Usopp, and Nami to use Geppo and get out of the water, Sanji rescued Luffy, and Zoro pulled Smoker out.
"How can Usopp get knocked out so easily?" said Oliver, looking at the unconscious Usopp.
"Thank you so much, Oliver-san," Vivi said, coughing a little.
"Next time, give us a warning first!" Nami shouted at him.
"Sorry, sorry," Oliver apologized.
"Wow, it's Smoker! Hey, Zoro! Why are you pulling the enemy out of the water?!" Sanji asked, annoyed that he saved him.
"Shut up, I didn't do it because I wanted to! He was about to die," said Zoro.
"This really isn't the time for you two to fight," said Oliver, stopping them in case a fight broke out.
"You're right, it doesn't matter. Let's move on. We've wasted too much time. Vivi-chan, will we make it in time?" Sanji asked.
"I don't know," Vivi said as she wrung out her dress.
"Nami-san. Do you still have the perfume we bought in Nanohana?" Sanji asked.
"Yeah... why are you asking?" Nami replied, confused.
"Put some on," Sanji said seriously.
"Like this?" Nami said, putting on some perfume, which made Sanji go wild from the scent.
"That makes me fall in love all over again and ascend to heaven!" Sanji shouted, overwhelmed.
"Yeah? Then stay there," said Zoro.
"He really is an idiot," Oliver said, watching Sanji's behavior.
"RORONOA!" Smoker yelled, attacking with his weapon, but Zoro blocked it. "Why did you save me?"
Zoro remembered that Luffy had ordered him to save Smoker, so he sheathed his swords again.
"I was just following the captain's orders. You don't need to thank me or anything. It was just one of his whims, don't read too much into it."
"Then I suppose you won't mind if I carry out my duty, right?" said Smoker.
"I told you already, this is what we get for saving a marine," Sanji replied.
"But it was Luffy's order. As crewmates, we have to follow what he says, right?" said Oliver, staying neutral. "We should be more worried about getting out of here."
"ALRIGHT! Guys, full speed ahead to Alubarna!" shouted Usopp, suddenly waking up, motivated.
"WHERE ARE YOU, CROCODILE?!" Luffy yelled, ready to fight.
"Wow, they're awake," said Nami, relieved, as Luffy turned and noticed Smoker.
"Smoke guy! You wanna fight?!" Luffy asked, ready to go at it, while Usopp panicked.
"AAAHH, IT'S SMOKER! Luffy, don't do it! Let's get out of here!" Usopp shouted in fear.
'Is he being serious right now?' Smoker thought, surprised.
The two stared at each other for a while as the marines approached to assist their superior.
"Go. But I'll only let you go this time. The next time we meet, consider yourself dead, Mugiwara," Smoker said, leaving the crew stunned.
Just then, the marines arrived and saw everyone, so they all quickly ran off.
"Finally, to Alubarna," said Oliver.
"Yeah, we're almost there," said Vivi.
"Don't let them escape!" shouted one of the marines as Smoker lit another cigar.
"Hurry! Hurry!" said Usopp, just as Luffy suddenly came running past them.
"ALRIIIGHT! GUYS, LET'S GO TO ALUBARNA!" Luffy shouted, fired up.
"YEAH!" everyone shouted together.
