Mina wiped the tears from her eyes. She had been laughing through all this while. Naarah was telling her about an incident that had happened.
"I'm telling you. I couldn't move from the chair." Naarah exclaimed.
"It's ok, Naarah. My tummy hurts." Mina said holding her tummy.
She adjusted herself comfortably on the bed. A sigh escaped her lips. She stared at the ceiling and asked.
" When am I going to leave this place. It's been two weeks now."
Naarah held her hand and squeezed it lightly.
"Soon, Mina. You have to recover from your wound. And that bitch has to pay for her deeds." Naarah exclaimed.
Mina turned her head sharply and looked at her.
" I heard that someone donated blood for me? Who was it?" Mina furrowed her brows.
She had meant to ask Aaron but he skipped diverting her attention. And he'd been busy with their newborn. It was like he was making up for something. He was eager to distract her from the conversation with a passionate kiss. A blush formed on her face as she touched her lips subconsciously.
Naarah furrowed her brows as she stared at her friend.
" What is she thinking about?"
Her back leaned against the sofa as she studied her movement.
" What are you thinking about Mina Angel?" Naarah bellowed
Mina snapped out of her thoughts. Her eyes popped out of her sockets.
Naarah folded her arms and raised her brow.
" What are you thinking about? Don't even tell me. It must be my cousin and something you guys did on that bed." Naarah snapped.
Mina tried to hold her smile but couldn't. She cleared her throat awkwardly as she brushed her hand through her hair.
" Tell me. Who donated the blood?" Mina changed the conversation.
Naarah cleared her throat and said;
"Doctor Francis did."
" What?" Mina exclaimed.
Naarah shrugged her shoulders.
" Yeah. He came like a knight in shining armour. We were not a match. Not even my cousin. But Francis was and then he donated."
"Wasn't he in Mexico?" Mina asked.
Naarah got up from her seat.
"How am I supposed to know. He is your doctor."
" And you recommended him." Mina snapped.
" Yay! Mina Angel. I did that to piss my cousin off. Not for him to fall for you and show up unexpectedly."
Mina shook her head with a tight smile. She couldn't even argue with her because whatever she was saying was true.
" I need to thank him," Mina said.
Naarah laughed sheepishly and said;
" Apparently my cousin shot him."
" He what?" Mina growled.
She was boiling inside.
" Who the heck does Aaron think he is shooting my doctor? The guts he has. I'm going to kill him." Mina said fuming inside.
She had had enough of that guy called Aaron and his shenanigans.
