The voices became clear and loud. She found it difficult to breathe. Something heavy was on her and tears flowed down her neck. She tried getting up but she couldn't. Her fingers twitched.
A sound reached through her throat but her lips were sealed.
" Mmm," a soft sound was made again.
Aaron got startled, and he stared at his princess.
Her lips weren't purple anymore but they were dry. Her face had gained the colour it had lost.
" Baby. Can you hear me?" Aaron muttered
He looked down at her hand. It twitched. Not once but twice.
"She's awake. Baby, you're awake right?" Aaron said wholeheartedly.
Naarah turned sharply to her cousin.
" What did you say, Aaron. Don't joke with me?" Naarah exclaimed, her fingers resting on her necklace.
"She moved, her fingers were twitching. And she made a sound." Aaron stuttered as he smiled
"Mm,"
Everyone in the room finally heard the sound. The doctors stared at each other in disbelief. She wasn't gone.
" The monitor is reading her heartbeat again." a doctor shouted. The nurses rushed inside.
" Check her vital signs and her breathing."
One doctor looked at Aaron and Naarah with a smile;
" She made it" After he said that they made a gesture to a nurse to send them out.
" Did you hear, Aaron. She made it. She finally made it. I knew she was a fighter." Naarah exclaimed with her hands clasped together.
" She sure is. My Mina is a fighter. And I promise to take vengeance on whoever did that to her. "
Naarah nodded

Mina's eyes fluttered against each other. She tried opening them but they feel heavy. One last try and they finally opened up. The night light hit her eyes making her shut them again. She groaned before her eyes opened. A sigh of relief left her lips. She looked around her. Memories flowed through her mind.
" Amanda," she murmured to herself with a frown.
" Princess," Aaron rushed towards her.
Mina turned her head to meet his gaze. He looked different.
He looked like he hadn't shaved for a week and he was wearing the shirt he wore when he came back to France. She smiled at him.
" I missed you baby. Please don't ever scare me like that. I - I thought I lost you." Aaron shrieked.
"I'm fine Aaron, I made it."
" You did Mina, and I promise you I'm not gonna joke with any moment with you. I promise to be with you and not because of a contract but genuinely."
Mina sniffed back the tears. She had never heard Aaron say this to her. She could feel the sincerity in his tone.
