Bol jumped down a high slope, dashing toward the Primordial beast like a boulder breaking free from a mountain.
"Bro, be careful!" Deji shouted, his voice sharp and fast enough to cut through the rushing wind. But Bol kept running ahead, stubborn as ever.
Suddenly, a shadow flashed into existence right in front of him. Before Bol could even register what happened, his head collided with the stranger's, slamming with a dull thud that sent both of them spinning in opposite directions like tossed pebbles.
"Ti-ta-ta-ta…" Bol pressed his right hand to the corner of his aching head, his back still partly glued to the ground. The memory of the collision replayed in his mind like a cruel joke. He slowly pushed himself up to sit on his butt, eyes narrowing as he saw another Primordial kid, just as tall as him, around twenty feet high, standing there.
"You! Why did you attack me?" Bol complained loudly, pointing at the other kid with indignant fury.
