Chapter 43 - Dungeon Lost

Ayaka, and Constantine, who were both sent out as they lost to Zypher, rolled out of the door, with the others also coming down.

All of the players inside, as well as the ones on the bridge, were sent out, and the door began to close.

This is just one dungeon, compared to the others they have, but this dungeon is almost 2% of their overall revenue, and we are not talking about hundred thousands or millions, it is billions and almost trillions of Myrrhs.

Taking 2% of a trillion is almost 20 billion, and that's not small.

Also, the monopoly of the Space Ores is what they enjoy. Monopolizing it means that they can take their time, create more, and sell more, and even use it for their own.

But now, everything is falling down in front of him.

As the place was being torn down, three groups of people arrived at the place.

"The once undefeated person, do suffer setbacks too. The world is fair."

Corin, with his team, landed before the people who were on the ground.

Constantine, who heard his words, had his anger welling up on his chest. His hands clutched his clothes and gritted his teeh, because all he can do is be quiet.

"Don't hit him too hard, Corin. Maybe our youngest is experiencing puberty."

Carla also arrived with Pietro and his gang, all looking at the once hailed genius of the generation.

"Greet the Patriarch!" A booming voice sounded.

All looked up, and all of them saw a bald man, lean, yet having a wild aura around him walking on air. He is wearing a yellow robe, with his hands on his back. His round glasses are his signature, and his blank face that gives anyone fear.

"We greet the Patriarch!"

All of them knelt down as he looked at the now too small entrance of the dungeon.

Charles, who is a hero of the first generation, always came out on top. He is the paragon of wits, and is always the one who makes strategy.

But now, he is the one that is the prey to others' strategies. Although he doesn't know if it is strategy or not, he cannot deny that he fell to one.

And he wants it to be strategy, for his prized son, his genius son, that took after him, is the one that failed. This means that it is too degrading for him.

Although it is a good lesson for Constantine, he wants to know how the other party did him wrong, because as he is, he can at least stall Constantine, but not win over him. Not because he is a father, but because he knows how powerful and smart his son is.

Too bad for him, the enemy this time is cunning, wise and with experience and expertise.

"For today, I am going to strip off your rule over Kyulaff. Any objections?"

The place got quiet, but there were two nosy grins that are hoping that they can get a share of what the others lost.

"None."

'You dogs.'

Constantine answered, and he muttered under his breath. Right now, he is a bit frustrated, but knowing his enemy, that can change the flow of battle, and he can be the bane of all of them here.

Right now, he has to pull back, and become stronger, so that next time, he will be the one who tramples down, not the one trampled on.

In truth, Magic Knight Guild has six cities of Acias, although they do not own it, they have a certain power over the said places.

Omadd, Pigreen, Kyulaff, Arkrai, Eshaut and Tifrawn.

Corin holds Omadd and Pigreen, Eshaut and Tifrawn for Carla, and the remaining two are under Constantine.

Now that the incident happened in Kyulaff, it is just right that it is pulled out of Constantine's rule, what's more is that they let go of a precious resource that only they can hold, the Space Ore.

Charles held his head in frustration, he sighed and walked away from the closing portal.

Suddenly, intense lights appeared behind him. Energy began to fluctuate, and the small closing dungeon began to reopen.

Dread, curiosity, anger and fear were all directed towards the said portal.

"Yo, did you miss me?"

Zypher said as he greeted the now kneeling Constantine.

"You?"

Pietro shouted as he saw Zypher. Charles, who was walking back, decided to look at the figure that defeated his son, only to find out that everyone were running towards the guy.

"What a warm welcome."

Zypher nonchalantly said as he pulled out his two weapons. Two chakrams appeared, and both of them were spinning in his hand.

Yes, Zypher only made one, but the chakram can split into two. That is the second ability of Greed Chakram.

Aside from this, the true power of the Greed Chakram is it's Triggered Ability: All Mine.

The Ability is to target one other weapon, and use all of its abilities and skills, and raise their abilities by 100%, and the one weapon that it has right now, is yes, the Charity Dagger.

Whirring and rotating, the two chakrams flee out.

"No, you can--"

"Stop, Ayaka. Let them know what he is."

Ayaka was just about to shout when Constantine stopped her. He knows what Zypher can do, and this time, it will be a waste if he cannot see everything.

"Briar, come to me!"

As he shouted, the Wraith Queen Briar then came out of his shadow.

In truth, he is not using Briar right now to get his own Abilities and Skills to the max, and he can improve his flexibility and variations.

Although he has abilities and skills, right now, using chakram is a bit less because he don't know any skills and abilities about using it.

And so, he decided to use Briar, not to run, but to make a point.

He threw Greed Chakram ahead, and the two then bounced.

It bounced once, bounced twice, bounced thrice. And in the fourth bounce, something happened.

[You have died.]

[Respawning...]

One shot.

A level 30 player, under the group of Corin, forgot how to breathe.

"One Man Army."

It makes his one stat have the difference between them plus twenty percent of the stat. It means he has higher stats right now, and he just got a charged attack through Greed Chakram.

In short, he had the ability to.

"One Man Army convert Agility."

He said as he found the most agile hostile player.

Inflicting such damage, the players of Magic Knight then stated to avoid the chakrams, but that was his plan all along.

Clang! Clang!

Hearing a thrilling sound, other tried to know what it is, and as they looked back, there were now four chakrams whirring.

Although they were smaller, it doesn't mean that they were weaker. The truth of the matter is, they spun quicker, quicker than it did before.

"RUN!"

One shouted, but after that, he died as the fourth attack of one chakram hit him in the head.

And the one who controls it?

Using Briar as a way to deter them, Zypher ran and attacked from time to time.

His chakrams, being controlled by his Hex, he then used his Mana to fire his gun again and again.

The funny thing is, he hit everyone, while everyone is having a hard time trying to hit him.

But to Charles and Constantine, who can read the flow of battle, this is just a simple battle game.

Players below Level 70 are unable to fly, unless they use the terrain to be able to have a high vantage point, they can see strike Zypher anytime.

But, the terrain now is a flatland because Magic Knights cleared the terrain for a better place for them to move.

And, Zypher is making moves that even if there were people comjmg from his sides, he can use the terrain to his advantage.

His plan is simple: use Briar as an optical barrier, and he will move where Briar moves, and escape their periphery.

Long peripheral visions often miss the sides, and wide peripheral visions often miss the ones from afar, and the focused ones on him will lose focus as long as he hides behind Briar.

In short, he is hiding in plain sight, and he is hitting them with accuracy.

"Let me!"

Charles said as he ran towards Zypher, but then, an awkward silence enveloped them.

Zypher, the one that made them all chase him, vanished into thin air.

Charles, who is adept in sensing energies, then saw two energies split up.

One went north, to a small town, and the other to the west, where the the next city, Yuwok, is.

"You think you can fool me?"

Charles chased the one who went to the north. This was his own decision as it has bigger energy.

Summons, although powerful, has smaller energy compared to their summoner. This is because the summons are always dependent on the energy of their summoners, making them reliant, and having small energy pools.

Then, something happened that confused him.

Why is that, that the one he chases, did not attract the still flying chakrams earlier, and now, it was flying to the one that went to Yuwok.

Then, the one he chases stopped in it's tracks.

"You are playing me? Do you think you can escape?"

Charles then ran towards the one that pulled the chakrams, boosting his own speed, to catch up to the fish that escaped the net.

Although fast, Charles is faster, and he used a bit of his skills to catch up.

The energy is now running towards the edge of the border, and if Charles went over, the owner of Yuwok, Blood Palace Guild, of the Llorund Family.

This can be seen as a declaration of war, but if Charles gave into procedures, the fugitive may escape, or if the Llorunds are making a hard time for him, he can see it as them making things for him.

Either way, it is war, and they will look like toys to a newbie player.

He rushed over, and he overtook the running player before he went to the border. With a punch, he welcomed him, only to see a slime, which his punch passed through.

The chakrams became one, and the slime then passed through him due to it becoming a shadow, but then, it became heavy and bounced off his back, which then boosted its speed, running away.

It then vanished into thin air, like it was desummoned, but what surprised him is that the chakram also did. Nothing was left in that place.

"What?" Charles was left with an incredulous look.

________________________________________

Omadd, a dark alley.

A man can be seen with a woman with two pigtails. A slime perched above his head as he walked out of the said alley.

He is panting, and was tired from overusing his abilities, so he did not notice the two people standing before him.

"You managed to fool them, but not me."

The voice said as it stopped there.

"Don't move."

Zypher, who was still exhausted didn't try to move.

"As you were running, you used the invisibility potions on you and your summon."

"I don't know what class you are, but I guess you have an ability to steal others' stats."

"And also, I don't know what you did, but you were able to suppress your level, that's why you won against us in the dungeon."

"After you used the potion earlier, you used another summon I do not know of, and use them both as decoy, while you run here at south."

"You fooled me once when you escaped Arkrai, fooled me twice when you won today, but not thrice."

"I caught you now, Zypher Miracle."

As his silhouette went on, a familiar face can be seen.

He was so meek earlier that Zypher did not realize he was there.

"We meet again, Constantine."
