Chapter 73 - Chapter 70: The Cute Monster and the White-White Sea

Location: Banaro Island

Storm finished his meal and stretched, feeling his 7-Star Physique settle in.

The island was secured. The pirates were imprisoned in clay cells, and the three "Lizard Officers" were stripped of their fruits.

Storm placed the three Zoan fruits into the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's inventory.

[Blunt-Headed Poison Lizard]

[Komodo Dragon]

[Marine Iguana]

They were standard fruits, but the Marine Iguana sparked an idea.

"It looks a bit like Godzilla," Storm muttered.

He manipulated a lump of clay. He gave it a dorsal fin, thick legs, and a rugged texture. In moments, a knee-high, chubby Godzilla stood before him.

"It has the shape, but no atomic breath," Storm sighed, kneading the little monster.

"Kawaii..."

Robin walked over with a clipboard, her eyes glued to the clay monster.

"Huh?" Storm held it up by the scruff of its neck. "What did you say?"

"Kawaii..." Robin blushed slightly, reaching out. "Boss, can I hug this little cutie?"

Storm looked at the ferocious, mutated lizard. "Human aesthetics are truly mysterious."

"I suggest you see a doctor," Storm handed it over. "This is Godzilla. The King of Monsters. It is not cute."

"So cute..." Robin hugged it, a maternal smile on her face.

'This woman is hopeless,' Storm thought.

He snapped his fingers.

POOF.

The Godzilla turned back into a lump of clay.

"Boss?" Robin looked at her empty hands, disappointed.

Storm reshaped it into a Nine-Tailed Fox. "Here. A normal cute animal."

"It's just a fox..." Robin pouted. She clearly preferred the monster.

"Listen up," Storm said, ignoring her disappointment. "I accepted the Warlord title. Banaro Island is now my territory. You stay here and manage the cleanup."

He built a sturdy, white clay house for her in seconds.

"What a convenient ability," Robin admired the construction. Her Hana Hana no Mi could sprout arms, but Storm could build cities.

"I'm leaving for a while," Storm pointed up. "To the sky."

"Skypiea?" Robin's eyes lit up. As an archaeologist, the Sky Islands were a dream.

"Yes. But I have dangerous business there. I'll take you next time."

"Understood," Robin nodded. "But Boss... can I have my cutie back?"

Storm sighed. "Fine. Big or small?"

"Big."

Storm released his Awakening.

RUMBLE!

A massive amount of clay gathered. It rose higher and higher, shaping itself into a dorsal-finned titan.

100-Meter Clay Godzilla.

It stood over the island, roaring silently.

"Kawaii..." Robin stared up at the behemoth, blushing.

"She's definitely crazy," Storm shook his head. He made a smaller, human-sized Godzilla to act as her bodyguard, then hopped onto his dragon.

"Target: Jaya Island!"

Location: Skies above Jaya

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon soared through the clouds.

To reach Skypiea, you couldn't just fly up anywhere. You had to follow the Knock Up Stream path or fly directly over Jaya, where the clouds were dense enough to support an island.

Altitude: 7,000 Meters.

The dragon broke through the first layer of clouds.

A vast, white ocean stretched out in all directions. The White Sea.

"7,000 meters is the White Sea," Storm recalled. "But Skypiea is in the White-White Sea, at 10,000 meters."

"Higher!"

ROAR!

The dragon flapped its wings, pushing through the thin air.

Altitude: 10,000 Meters.

They broke through the second layer.

And there it was.

Islands made of clouds. And among them, a massive island made of earth—the lost half of Jaya.

Upper Yard (The Ruins of Shandora).

Storm landed on the solid earth. He saw the ancient ruins, the massive beanstalk, and the glitter of gold hidden beneath the overgrowth.

But he wasn't here for the gold. Not yet.

He looked toward the center of the island, where a shrine stood.

He was here for the "God."

God Enel.

User of the Logia: Rumble-Rumble Fruit (Goro Goro no Mi).
