Chapter 473: World Shock (Part 1)
The emergency meeting at the World Government had just concluded.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting at the Navy had only just begun.
Inside the Fleet Admiral's office, Kong and Tsuru sat across from each other, discussing the grave events that had just unfolded.
"Tsuru, this is the situation: Rockefeller Charlotte freed Golden Lion Shiki, Red the Aloof Patrick Redfield, and all the other prisoners,"
Fleet Admiral Kong said with reddened eyes.
Tsuru's brows were furrowed.
"The situation is dire. Once those pirates are back on the seas, there will be bloodshed everywhere. The peace we fought so hard to maintain will collapse. The Navy is in a dangerous position—we must immediately recall all admirals for an emergency conference,"
Tsuru replied solemnly.
"Yes, it's too passive with just the two of us managing things. As soon as Aokiji's Buster Call is complete, he must return. Same with Garp and Sengoku. You handle notifying them—I'll head to Mary Geoise to report. The Navy is in your hands for now."
Kong gave his orders.
"Yes, understood."
Tsuru nodded without hesitation.
The brief conversation ended, and Kong rushed toward Mary Geoise.
Tsuru, holding the intelligence report in her hand, looked troubled. Then, she picked up a Den Den Mushi.
"Moshi moshi?"
On the other end, Garp, wearing a red floral shirt, was playing with a baby in his arms, making silly faces and drawing delighted laughter.
Suddenly, his Den Den Mushi buzzed in his pocket.
Seeing that it was Tsuru calling, he answered casually:
"Hey, I'm on vacation. If it's work, call back later."
But before he could hang up—
"Rockefeller Charlotte has invaded Impel Down!"
Tsuru's urgent voice stunned Garp.
"Sorry to interrupt your vacation, but this is a crisis. Impel Down has fallen, and all the prisoners have been released by Charlotte."
Garp fell silent.
"…Got it. I'm coming back now."
He hung up.
Looking down at the baby in his arms—
"Ace, Grandpa can't stay with you right now. I'll take you out to play next time."
With a gentle smile, he handed the baby to a stout woman nearby.
"I'll leave Ace to you. There's trouble at the Navy—I need to return immediately."
Without another word, Garp turned and left.
"Garp, you idiot! I'm a mountain bandit, not a babysitter!"
The woman shouted angrily, but Garp didn't stop.
He boarded a warship and set sail from Windmill Village's port.

Marineford, Navy HQ
"Did you hear? Impel Down was breached. Shiki and Redfield both escaped!"
The returning marines who followed Kong and Zephyr began spreading the story.
Soon, every soldier at Marineford knew what had happened in the world's most secure prison.
Meanwhile, Charlotte and his fleet of liberated prisoners returned grandly to the New World.

New World Waters
"What is that?"
A dozen massive ships were sailing through the seas, drawing attention.
"Is the Navy really bold enough to enter the New World like that?"
Some were confused by what looked like Navy vessels.
"No… something's off. Those ships aren't flying the Marine flag."
Another observer pointed out that the flags of justice were missing.
A sailor peered through a spyglass and gasped—
"That's not the Navy! It's the Rockefeller Pirates—and that's Charlotte! Wait… that's Patrick Redfield, too!"
People were stunned.
"How is that possible? This is the New World's entrance—why is Charlotte here? And wasn't Redfield captured last year?!"
"And look! The people on board are wearing prison uniforms!"
Indeed, aside from Charlotte, dozens stood on the decks wearing striped prison garb.
"Wait a second… those aren't just warships… they look like Impel Down prison ships! The markings are there too!"
The implications struck everyone like lightning.
"Charlotte invaded Impel Down!"
People looked at each other in shock, saying the same phrase in unison.
Everything—the ships, the prisoners, the presence of Redfield—pointed to one truth:
Rockefeller Charlotte broke into Impel Down and freed the inmates.
The entire region was thrown into chaos.
"Quick! Spread the news! Rockefeller Pirates have invaded Impel Down!"
Agents from every power and faction rushed to report the explosive development.
The news sent shockwaves through the seas.
The sight of ten prison ships, Charlotte, and Redfield was enough to cause a storm of panic and excitement.

World Economic News Headquarters
When Morgans heard the reports from both the Marines and World Government, he was stunned by Charlotte's boldness.
"Madman! Truly insane! He invaded Impel Down! That's a direct slap to the World Government's face!"
He stood frozen for a moment in awe.
"President, should we publish this story?"
An excited editor asked. It was the kind of headline news that would shake the world.
Morgans snapped back to action.
"Of course we publish! Where there's chaos, there's us! Get to work—I want tomorrow's world to wake up in shock!"
"Roger!"
Everyone rushed to start writing.
But before they could get far—
Boom!
A powerful explosion rocked the island.
Flames engulfed the news office.
Morgans ran to the window and spotted five or six government warships outside the port.
"Damn World Government! Pack everything—we've been compromised!"
He roared.
Everyone scrambled into evacuation mode, working at lightning speed.

The Next Day

The world trembled.
