"Nilo, Nilo," Bunky came running to me in his little denim shorts, rain boots and a cow printed shirt with his tiny cowboy hat as Benecio, Daniel and I tossed a football between us as Bunky played with his electric tractor between us. "Play that song ping, pang, ping, boo, boo."
I swept him up in my arms and pressed kisses to his cheeks as he laughed. "Promise me you won't tell Pa."
"I won't," he pressed his index finger over his lips in a 'shush' motion. I took out my phone from my pocket and played 'Peekaboo' by Kendrick Lamar' through the backyard speakers. Bunky cutely nodded his head as he danced about in my arms.
Benecio let out a loud laugh as he tossed the football to Daniel before he came over to take Bunky from me as they danced together.
