Chapter 75 - Ch 74 - Edge of Power

The training ground shook with each clash, the air thick with raw power.

Satoru Gojo and Liam moved like blurs, their blows warping the very space around them. The once-mighty stone pillars were reduced to rubble, and the ground cracked beneath their feet.

Dust and sparks filled the air as their Cursed Energy clashed in a furious storm.

Gojo wasn't holding back—not this time. His usual cocky grin was gone, replaced by a sharp focus few had ever seen. His blindfold barely hid the glow of his Six Eyes as he weaved through Liam's relentless assault. Every flick of his wrist, every shift in stance, was calculated to perfection. He had to control his power, had to keep their battlefield from becoming a wasteland.

But even as he reined himself in, he fought Liam as an equal.

Liam had pushed himself past his limits time and time again. Now, he was here, standing toe-to-toe with Gojo—not just surviving, but challenging him. His Time-Skip flickered through the battlefield, phasing in and out of reality in microseconds.

Gojo's fists clashed against Liam's strikes, shockwaves ripping through the air. Every move was a test, every exchange a battle of wits and skill.

Limitless met Ten Shadows in a deadly dance, each counter sharper than the last.

Then, in a flash, Liam was above him. His hands blurred through signs, summoning Mahoraga mid-motion, its colossal form looming over the battlefield. But before the beast could fully take shape, Gojo moved—a single, precise strike that shattered the summoning mid-form, sending Liam hurtling backward.

Yet Liam landed on his feet, skidding across the battlefield with a smirk.

"Not bad," He admitted, wiping blood from his lip. "You're keeping up."

Gojo let out a breath, rolling his shoulders. "Keeping up?"

A grin tugged at his lips. "You're strong, Liam. But don't think for a second you're stronger than me."

Their final clash shook the entire field, the force of it carving deep trenches into the earth. When the dust settled, both stood tall—bruised, and battered, but grinning like madmen.

Gojo chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Damn, kid. At this rate, you're gonna make me feel old."

Liam scoffed, cracking his knuckles. "You already are."

After the session, exhaustion settled in, not from fatigue but from the intensity of their clash. They made their way back, Gojo's carefree chatter filling the silence until Liam's gaze shifted—there she was.

Mei Mei stood with her arms crossed, her striking silver hair gleaming under the setting sun, eyes sharp and mischievous as always.

Gojo's steps faltered. Even someone as untouchable as him found Mei Mei's presence… complicated.

"Ah… Mei Mei," He greeted, his voice unusually careful.

Mei Mei's lips curled into a sly smile. "Gojo Satoru. Still hiding behind that cocky grin, I see."

Gojo huffed, feigning nonchalance but clearly uncomfortable. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got—uh—places to be."

He turned to Liam, giving a mock salute. "Same time next week, yeah?" Without waiting for an answer, he vanished, leaving behind nothing but a gust of wind.

Liam chuckled, watching his mentor's retreat. "Coward."

Turning his attention to Mei Mei, Liam's eyes locked on her.

No more teasing. No more smiles.

Predatory. Possessive.

Like a wolf spotting his prey.

He stalked over—each step heavy, until he was right in front of her. Then, without a word, his strong arm snatched around her waist, pulling her tight against him.

Smack!

His hand landed on her ass with a sharp, deliberate slap. The sound echoed—crack!—like it claimed the space around them.

"Ah…"

Mei Mei gasped, her breath hitching, a soft, needy moan slipping out before she could stop it.

But her eyes? Oh, they sparkled, full of mischief and delight.

"That's how you greet me?" Liam's voice was a low growl, dark and smooth, brushing hot against her ear.

Mei Mei leaned in, her smirk was wicked. "Would you have it any other way?"

For a heartbeat, they just stood there—tension crackling like static in the air.

Then Liam tugged her inside, his grip firm, possessive.

He didn't let go.

And she didn't want him to.

Inside the dim-lit room, shadows flickered like they were dancing just for them.

Mei Mei didn't hesitate—she slid onto Liam's lap, straddling him with ease like it was her throne and he was the seat built just for her.

His hands fell to her hips, fingers resting lazily, thumbs tracing slow, lazy circles—teasing like he had all the time in the world.

But her voice?

Pure business.

"Suguru Geto's gathering forces. He had already taken over the Time Vessel Association, well, what's left of it." She began, her tone cool and sharp, a contrast to the heat between them. "Whatever he's planning, it's big. Dangerous."

tap… tap… tap

Liam's fingers tapped against her bare thigh, a steady rhythm, his face blank, unreadable.

"Expected," He said flatly, like chaos was just another Tuesday.

Mei Mei arched a brow, amused. She leaned in, her lips a breath away from his ear. "You really think you've got everything under control?"

Smack!

His hand came down hard on her ass, sharp and sudden. She gasped, her breath hitching, and her eyes darkening with that mix of surprise and pleasure.

"Ah…"

Liam's voice dropped, low and dangerous, silk wrapped around steel. "Don't doubt me again, Mei Mei."

She chuckled, unbothered, leaning in closer. "As you wish… Master."

The word dripped from her lips like honey—mocking, sweet, and just sincere enough to sting.

She shifted in his lap, grinding slightly, just, to feel his fingers dig in tighter. "About Yuji Itadori. I still don't get why you care about some brat, but I did what you asked. Dug deep. Found something… interesting. His mother, Kaori Itadori, she was an interesting character. Supposedly dead. But she wasn't. She survived longer than anyone thought… and even gave birth to a son. But later she and her husband mysteriously disappeared."

For a second, just a flash, Liam's lips curled.

A flicker of something—amusement? Satisfaction? Darkness?... before it vanished.

"Keep watching him," He ordered, his voice cool, offering nothing more.

Mei Mei pouted dramatically, leaning in until her lips almost brushed his neck, her breath warm and teasing. "At least tell me what's so special about him."

SMACK!

Another hit—sharper, harder. The sound echoed—crack!—followed by her soft, breathy moan, half pain, half pleasure.

"Mmm…"

Liam's fingers gripped her chin, tilting her face until their eyes met. His gaze was sharp enough to cut.

"Obedience," he whispered, voice dark velvet. "That's all I ask."

She sighed, rolling her eyes but smiling. "Fine. But if you want me this obedient, I deserve a raise."

Liam chuckled, a deep, rich sound—*low and dangerous,* like a growl wrapped in velvet. "A raise, huh?"

SMACK! SMACK!

Without warning, two quick, brutal spanks landed on her butt.

She squirmed in his lap, biting her lip, her breath coming faster.

"You'll get whatever you want," He murmured, his voice dark and sweet. "But don't forget who you belong to."

Mei Mei grinned, unbothered, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

When they finally stood, Liam's hand slid down to her hip, fingers digging in possessively, a silent promise, a reminder of who was in control.

And Mei Mei?

She didn't just accept it.

She thrived on it.
