Kent didn't know which of his past lives had angered Enzi so much that she went against the cycle of reincarnation just to meet him today and express her frustration.
In fact, he had absolutely no idea what kind of pain could evoke such a reaction in a person.
That was, in fact, just too much for him to understand.
In his mind, none of what had happened was normal, and it most certainly wasn't worth the effort.
I mean, to travel across the cycle of reincarnation to throw a tantrum isn't at all normal. There isn't any pain that should make a person sacrifice so much just to throw tantrums.
'Unless...?' Something suddenly clicked in Kent's mind, causing his back to break into a cold sweat. He pulls away from Enzi and looks at her dangerously close.
Seeing how Kent was looking at her, she also narrowed her eyes and asked, "Why are you looking at me like you want to swallow me?"
"Are you alright?" Kent asked, a little worried about Enzi and a lot more wary of her.
