Sebastian started to laugh. Dorin froze. He looked at Johan as Sebastian's laughter got even louder.
"I'm 15! Which makes me older than you two idiots!" Sebastian blabbered, standing up shakily. "15 and a half to be exact! That means you mooorons need to listen to what I sa– mmph!"
Dorin placed a hand over the Sebastian's mouth and watched as Johan tried desperately to catch his breath.
"You okay?" Dorin asked the fire mage. Johan gasped as Dorin kept his hold on Sebastian's mouth.
"What... happened?" asked a bewildered Johan.
"I think Sebastian's drunk. I'll take him to his room."
With that, he dragged the protesting Sebastian to the bedroom and locked the door. He did a quick silence spell before taking his hand off his mouth.
"How dare you place your filthy hand on my face!" Sebastian spat out. "Have you any idea who I am?!"
"Okay, I guess the beer was a bad idea after all..." Dorin said with a sigh. "Now, settle down..." He tried to sit Sebastian down on the bed, but the other fought him off.
"Unhand me!" Sebastian hissed. "I am Marius Sebastian Vladimir Ravante! The head and only heir to the Ravante family of the Silver mages!" he went on. "Who are you to command me?!"
"I am Dorin," replied the other, "Your friend and sworn brother."
Sebastian was taken aback for a bit. "It does not matter..." he said, "You have no right to drag me what ever which way you please!"
"You were hurting Johan," said Dorin. Sebastian went quiet once more.
"Weak willed people have always been easy to succumb to my power..." he tried to reason out.
"No, you're just too strong."
Dorin sat on the bed and watched Sebastian's animated face change expressions.
"Yes, I already know that..." Sebastian's face was red, either from being embarrassed or from the alcohol. "Can I help it if I am?"
"Can't you control it?"
"Would I be wearing this guise if I did?"
"Then, why don't you just tell him to disregard your commands?"
"As if that would work?!" Sebastian said haughtily. "I do not understand how you could be immune to my power, but don't think that others are the same!"
"Well, my aunt seems to have a charm against you, and Damien didn't seem to be affected at all..." said Johan, counting on his fingers.
"Okay, so some people can make charms against it... but still..."
"Have you ever tried it before?"
"Tried what?!"
"Ordering someone to disregard all your words and be immune to your charm."
Sebastian went silent.
"Don't you want to try it?" Dorin asked again. Sebastian looked at him, brooding.
"Door, open," he suddenly said.
The door to his room burst open, almost flying off its hinge. Sebastian walked out of the room with Dorin trailing behind him.
"Hey, settle down a bit, would you..." Dorin tried to stand in front of him.
"Wall, hinder him." The wall on one of the spare bedrooms started to shift and obstruct Dorin's way.
"Sebastian. Stop it." Dorin called, but Sebastian was already in front of the fire mage's bedroom.
"Come out. Johan Ignasius of the Dragon Blood," he ordered. "Open your door and submit yourself to me."
"That's enough!" Dorin called out. He stomped his foot and sent the wall in front of him crumbling with a strong gust of wind.
"Door, open." Sebastian's voice was flat. The door to Johan's room burst open.
Sebastian looked inside and grinned. Johan was crouching on his bed, staring at him wide eyed, a tin can on his lap.
"I-I refuse!" said the fire mage. There was blood trickling down his nose.
Dorin ran towards Sebastian, intending to knock him out if need be. He leaped at the Silver Tongue just in time as a blast of purple flame came out of Johan's room, burning the door of the room opposite.
"Woah!" Dorin called out. "What was that?!" He looked at Sebastian who lay unconscious beneath him. "Oops, sorry," he said, before hitting Sebastian at the back of the head for good measure. He then proceeded to put the fire out.
"Is he down?" came Johan's voice from inside his room.
"Yeah, sorry about that," Dorin sighed.
Azra suddenly appeared by the fallen Sebastian's side. "I'll take care of Lord Sebastian." Dorin moved aside and sighed.
"I guess he meant it when he said that alcohol muddles the – WOAH! What's that?" Dorin gasped, pointing at a creature curled around Johan's neck.
"Oh..." Johan sounded uncertain, "It just... hatched..."
Dorin stared at the small scaly creature. Its top was a fiery red and its underside, gold, with five little talons on its four tiny limbs. It looked back at Dorin and sneezed. Two rings of white smoke came out of its nostrils.
"Is that... a dragon?" Dorin asked again.
"How should I know?" Johan replied, "I told you, it just hatched.
