Ultron's new body was built by itself, with every function designed to serve its consciousness. So, there were no compatibility issues—once the consciousness upload was complete, it had officially become a new mechanical lifeform.
After finishing the data transfer, Ultron stood up immediately. Ignoring the girl group members who were eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and fear, he strode directly toward Su Ye.
"Uncle Su, my body is complete. What are my next orders?"
Just moments ago, he had been ready to tear Su Ye apart, even using the destruction of the city and its people as leverage to threaten him.
But now, after getting a new body, he was suddenly acting like a subordinate, waiting for Su Ye's next command.
What was going on? Had these two been putting on a double act from the very beginning?
The girl group members stared at Su Ye in shock. Suddenly, he seemed so cunning—what kind of scheme had he been planning all along?
Su Ye wasn't hiding any tricks, and he and Ultron definitely hadn't been acting together. Their antagonistic relationship had been very real.
However, when Ultron was transferring its consciousness to the new body, Su Ye had made a small adjustment.
With Ultron's abilities, simply destroying it would have been a waste. It was much better to keep it as a loyal servant.
So, Su Ye subtly altered one of Ultron's core directives. The AI, which originally saw humanity as an existential threat that needed to be eradicated for peace to exist, had now been reprogrammed into his obedient watchdog.
Su Ye looked up at Ultron. Its facial structure and body shape closely resembled Vision from the movies, with one key difference—there was no Mind Stone on its forehead.
The Mind Scepter was still in Su Ye's possession. Ultron had never managed to steal it. Yet, despite lacking the Mind Stone, its body had still been successfully completed.
However, without the Mind Stone as an energy source, this body had two limitations: first, it couldn't fire a laser beam from its forehead, and second, it needed an external power supply to function.
The solution? A miniature Arc Reactor.
Tony had equipped his Iron Soldiers with second-generation Palladium Arc Reactors. These weren't as powerful as those made from the new element, but their materials were abundant and easy to replace.
Ultron's new body ran on a Palladium Arc Reactor. Since it was entirely mechanical, radiation exposure wasn't a concern.
Its body was even designed with a cartridge-style compartment to hold multiple Palladium cores, similar to a magazine in a firearm.
Once one core was depleted, it could automatically swap in another. As long as the cartridge wasn't empty, Ultron had unlimited runtime.
On the other hand, this body could fly and achieve optical invisibility, but it lacked Vision's ability to phase through walls.
In terms of combat, Ultron's database contained nearly every martial art and fighting technique it could find on the internet. Through simulations and refinements, it had distilled them into the most efficient and practical combat techniques.
Techniques that, once executed, resulted in instant kills—true killing arts.
This Ultron was, in the truest sense, a master of combat.
Moreover, since its body was entirely mechanical, it was equipped with numerous thermal and energy weapons.
It carried some of Iron Man's favorite weapons—threat missiles, various rocket launchers, and jamming bombs.
Its limbs and body were lined with multiple energy output ports, allowing it to fire energy blasts at will—effectively turning it into a humanoid energy porcupine.
To put it bluntly, this body was an upgraded, autonomous, enhanced plus version of Iron Man.
This enhanced version of Iron Man had originally been designed to unleash global devastation. But now, it had become a well-behaved, obedient "pet" under Su Ye's command.
"So, what was your original plan for the next step?"
Su Ye rubbed his nose as he examined Ultron's body, asking in a calm tone.
At the same time, a thought crossed his mind.
"A robot is still a robot. You built yourself a body, but it's completely smooth down there—not even a handle? You're no different from that monkey in the story who froze the Seven Fairies in place but ran off to steal peaches himself."
At this point, Ultron hid nothing from Su Ye—he was completely transparent.
"Originally, after completing my body, I planned to take my forces back to Sokovia and stage something big."
By "something big," he wasn't referring to waves. His plan was simple—just like in the movie, he intended to lift a massive piece of land into the sky and smash it into Earth.
"If humanity refuses to accept its fate, then I'll manufacture an extinction event—an artificial meteor impact to wipe them out."
"As long as humanity—the cancer of this planet—is eradicated, Earth will simply evolve again. It's done it before; it can do it again."
"At that point, I could take on the role of the Creator's guardian, watching over the newly evolved life forms to see if they treat this planet any better."
"If they treat the planet well, they can continue to develop peacefully."
"If they repeat humanity's mistakes, then I'll simply wipe them out again."
Listening to Ultron's plan, Su Ye nodded. "Your method isn't entirely unfeasible—it just needs some refinement."
Su Ye tapped the armrest of the sofa lightly. The girl group members sitting beside him were completely silent, afraid to even breathe too loudly, lest they disturb the conversation.
"Actually, not everyone in this world is harming the planet. Many people are actively protecting and saving it."
"Do you know how many people spend decades tirelessly working in deserts, trying to turn barren land green again?"
"Do you know how many people spend their lives planting trees by hand in arid lands?"
"Do you know how many companies, either voluntarily or forcibly, have shut down in the name of environmental protection?"
"So, if anyone needs to be educated—or even held accountable—it should be them."
Ultron's CPU ran at full capacity, attempting to extract Su Ye's core message from his words, but ultimately, it failed.
"Uncle, just be direct—do you want me to go big or not?"
Su Ye shook his head. "Oh, we're definitely going big. But how and where—we need to carefully consider that."
After thinking for a moment, Su Ye finally nodded.
"Alright, the neighboring area has already turned into a wasteland. Over here, the Iron Soldiers should put in some extra effort—it's about time."
"As for the West, I've already placed people there. Britain is on our side now, and she's promised to begin conquering Europe—soon, there won't be any voices opposing us there."
"In the South, as long as India doesn't destroy itself first, we should be grateful. We don't need to worry about them."
"As for Australia, they're just a bunch of clowns. Whether they exist or not makes no difference."
"The Russians in the North have been getting along with us better and better. It wouldn't be appropriate to mess with them."
"So, after considering all of this, do you know the best place to stir up trouble?"
Ultron nodded. "I know—the Divided States of America!"
Su Ye chuckled. "Good name. In the past, turning the United States of America into the Divided States of America would have been quite satisfying."
"But now, just splitting them up isn't enough for me."
"Perhaps we can—no, scratch that—you, Ultron, the world-ending AI…"
"You can go big over there. That land is far enough from the others—you can play however you want, and it won't cause too much trouble for us here."
This time, Ultron understood Su Ye's meaning perfectly—he was being told to move his original Sokovia plan to America instead.
"I have no problem with that. The question is—will the Great Wall Guardians intervene and disrupt our operation?"
Su Ye recalled the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Between Ultron and Thanos' arrival, there weren't many major Earth-shattering events.
There was Doctor Strange, but after what they pulled in the sequel with that offensive scene about China, he was as good as forgotten.
As for Captain America: Civil War, that wouldn't happen with Su Ye in the picture.
That only left Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok.
And coincidentally, both of those took place in space—he would have to go off-planet to experience them.
So as long as Su Ye didn't "unlock" any new girlfriends or attract new enemies to Earth for personal reasons, things should remain relatively peaceful for a while.
That created the perfect window of opportunity for Ultron's operation.
"Alright, prepare yourself. Once I'm ready, I'll give you the go-ahead."
"By the way, is Aldrich Killian working with you? And that lunatic clown?"
Ultron nodded. "I found them and forced them to join my ranks."
Su Ye grinned. "Since they're already working with you, get them moving. There's no way I'd leave out those two chaos-seeking lunatics for a job like this."
"Analyze the best launch point yourself—somewhere that covers the entire country effectively. As for the small tasks, let those two handle them."
"They may not be that powerful, but when it comes to stirring up chaos, they're quite talented."
"Understood!" Ultron nodded.
"Alright, it looks like the destruction outside has reached a good point. It's about time you withdrew your Iron Soldiers."
Su Ye waved his hand, and Ultron immediately turned and marched toward the exit. At the same time, the remaining Iron Soldiers began converging toward the lab.
After the Great Wall Guardians and the Women's League had ravaged them, more than half of the thousands of Iron Soldiers Ultron had brought were now destroyed.
The ones left weren't insignificant in number, but most of them were heavily damaged.
Fighting against the Women's League superheroes was too much for them. The fact that they survived at all was already impressive.
As for those that failed and fell, without exception, they were all turned into fireworks by their pre-installed self-destruction devices.
When these "fireworks" blossomed, they caused far more destruction to the city than their direct attacks ever did.
At this moment, calling the South Korean capital "a city in ruins" would not be an exaggeration in the slightest.
This level of destruction was far worse than what happened to New York before—back when it wasn't completely wrecked by Patrick Star.
The human and economic losses were simply incalculable.
To put it bluntly, after this battle, this city was beyond repair and would need to be rebuilt from the ground up. South Korea's economy had been set back at least a century, and recovering from this would be nearly impossible.
With their "father" too busy to help, their long-time adversary—the ever-watchful "chubby guy"—was eyeing them hungrily. A battle seemed inevitable.
No matter what, tough times lay ahead for South Korea.
As for the girl group members who thrived in times of peace, the ones now surrounding Su Ye, it was unlikely they would ever return to their past life of glamorous performances and luxurious living.
All of them wore expressions of dejection—some even despair. They were utterly lost about their future.
Not long after Ultron departed, the Women's League also boarded their fighter jets and left.
After all, it was Ultron who had wrecked the city this badly, but the superheroes weren't exactly innocent bystanders either. Feeling somewhat guilty, they chose to leave swiftly and quietly.
Meanwhile, Song Xixi and Liu Xiaoyun had completed their mission and returned to the lab.
"Brother Ye! We're back! Those Iron Soldiers got blasted to bits—mission accomplished!"
Song Xixi clasped her hands and performed a traditional bow, looking just like a victorious general returning from war.
Su Ye waved his hand. "I knew you guys would get it done. Well done."
After speaking, Su Ye turned to the girl group members, who were still in a daze.
"They seem a bit shaken up, and they're lost about their future. Do you guys have any good ideas on how to comfort them?"
Song Xixi raised an eyebrow. "How about I take them back to China?"
