Unlike the ancient game event, this version was filled with danger, and the mortality rate was alarmingly high. Yet, even after knowing the risks, Kuro still wished to join. This was for his dream to earn a residency in the capital city—a place where food was abundant and every shelter was safe. However, as Kuro advanced through the race, he began to notice something unsettling. And the more he observed, the more he realized there was a hidden truth behind this event. Soon, he unraveled the mystery that had loomed for centuries: Why do the Olympics still exist in this era? And why do the animals suddenly undergo extreme mutations?
