Chapter 478 - Chapter 478: As If in Another Lifetime!!

At this very moment, the pressure hanging over the scene was so heavy that everyone present felt as if they could barely breathe.

Everyone knew it perfectly well, clear as day, that the man who had suddenly appeared here at this moment could be none other than the Void that had already manifested.

Right then, every single person wore an expression of utter confusion and panic.

After all, who could have expected that the manifested Void would actually come looking for them?

Naturally, they had no way of knowing what purpose the Void's sudden appearance here was meant to serve.

However, there was one thing they could be absolutely certain of, for the manifested Void to appear at this moment, nothing good could possibly come of it.

Because of this, they chose to remain silent, not daring to speak rashly. Instead, they quietly stared at the Void before them, their hearts filled with vigilance and doubt, desperately wanting to know what he intended to do.

Yet what no one anticipated was that this Void, who had suddenly appeared, did not open his mouth to say anything at all.

Or rather, he simply couldn't be bothered to communicate with the people present.

From the moment he stepped into this domain until now, he had not revealed the slightest emotional fluctuation.

In his eyes there was only cold indifference and disdain, the aloof gaze of one looking down upon all living beings. He completely ignored every single person present.

Just as everyone was at a loss, the Void finally made a move.

He lightly raised his arm and gave what seemed like a casual wave. In an instant, the space in front of him was violently stirred by some invisible, massive force, twisting and warping with extreme intensity.

In the blink of an eye, deep within that distorted space, a mysterious and profound teleportation gate slowly appeared.

While everyone was still full of doubts, a shocking scene unfolded. A zombie suddenly leapt up from within the crowd.

Its body seemed to be pulled by an indescribably powerful force, shooting straight toward the teleportation gate like an arrow released from a bow.

Because everything happened so suddenly, before anyone could react, they saw the zombie streak through the mysterious portal like a bolt of lightning, disappearing completely from their sight in an instant.

And this was only the beginning. Immediately after, something even more unexpected happened again.

From within the crowd, a chicken, an ordinary villager, and a disaster villager abruptly shot up into the air without any warning.

Their bodies floated uncontrollably in midair, as if tightly bound by some invisible force, racing straight toward the teleportation gate.

They were moving so fast, like a sudden storm, that no one had time to react at all.

Just as the three were about to reach the portal, everyone present snapped out of it as if waking from a dream.

"Quick! Grab them now!!!" someone shouted in a panic.

"Baa!! Baa baa!! Baa baa!!!!"

"Absolutely cannot let them enter the teleportation gate!!" Fear and tension filled the air, every heart jumping up into their throats.

In a flash, a nimble Little Black instantly teleported beneath the villager who was flying through the air, moving faster than the eye could follow.

Seeing this, several other Little Blacks followed suit, teleporting forward to grab the chicken and the disaster villager.

The Little Black that had moved first did not hesitate. It stretched out both arms and clutched the villager's right leg tightly, seemingly trying to use teleportation to help the villager escape.

But this method simply didn't work. The pulling force was far too strong, Little Black couldn't teleport at all.

Seeing this, Little Black still refused to give up and used all its strength to desperately drag downward.

However, that overwhelmingly powerful pulling force was beyond imagination. Even though Little Black exhausted every ounce of strength, it still couldn't pull the villager back to the ground.

Not only that, it was instead forcibly dragged off the ground itself by that immense force.

Witnessing this scene, all the monsters, animals, villagers, disaster villagers, and players around them could no longer suppress their anxiety and worry. One after another, they rushed forward without hesitation.

United as one, their hearts and strength aligned, they desperately grabbed onto Little Black's legs, hoping to use the combined power of the group to resist that terrifying pulling force.

"Don't let go, everyone!! Push together!!"

"Roar… roaarrr…"

"Saliku Shaman!!!!"

In an instant, the entire scene descended into utter chaos. Screams and shouts rose one after another, deafening, as if they were about to pierce the heavens.

Although the situation was extremely chaotic, at this moment everyone's hearts were completely united.

At this moment, every action taken by everyone present was purely driven by instinct.

By instinct, they wanted to hold onto the companions beside them and not let anyone fall behind.

By instinct, they tightly banded together, forming an unbreakable line of defense.

By instinct, they exerted all their strength to rise up and resist the powerful existence of the Void.

They knew very clearly that what they were facing was a terrifying being of overwhelming power.

They understood that before such an existence, they were as insignificant as ants amid dust, utterly negligible.

And they understood even more clearly that the tiny bit of strength they possessed could not possibly have even the slightest effect on the all-powerful Void.

Even so, they did not retreat in the slightest. They pressed forward bravely, throwing themselves resolutely into this battle that had no chance of victory whatsoever, determined to fight him to the very end.

Seeing this scene, D suddenly felt as if he had crossed into another lifetime.

What unfolded before his eyes was like something awakened from the depths of his memory, so unfamiliar, yet strangely familiar.

He had never witnessed such a scene before, yet a hard-to-describe sense of familiarity surged from deep within his heart.

Back then, the various factions were locked in endless conflict, wars raging everywhere, their hatred for one another as irreconcilable as mortal enemies.

Yet, astonishingly, in the blink of an eye, they were suddenly unified under the absolute control of the true HIM, setting aside past grudges and joining hands to sound the horn of counterattack against D.

What puzzled D even more was that in that fierce battle, those factions that had once been at each other's throats were actually willing to give up their lives for one another.

The army forged by the true HIM displayed a level of unity far beyond the ordinary, and no matter how much D racked his brain, he could not fathom the reason behind it.

And now, the scene unfolding before him at this very moment was shockingly similar to what he had personally experienced back then.

Once again, the various factions were inexplicably gathering together, united in purpose, attempting to contend against him.

However, unlike the past, this time there was no one guiding them to act this way.

Everything they were doing seemed to be entirely spontaneous.
