Her scream split the air as she threw herself away from the table. Carter was startled as she snapped awake, took one look at him then started screaming bloody murder.
Emery was doing her best to get away from Carter, clawing and kicking at the ground as Momo and the girls rushed over. Even Katsumi looked freaked out as Ida ran to get a teacher while Kendo went over to him.
"What did you do?!" She demanded as he shrugged, just as lost. "I didn't do anything, she just woke up and saw me, then freaked the fuck out!" She glared at him for a split second before going to Emery who was sobbing in a corner as they held her.
He felt a little uneasy about it, so tentatively he reached out with his mind, and sank into hers. It was full of blood, wet and pulsing, with a hulking dragon looming over her as blood dripped from its maw. Explain, now! [It would seem that she has had a nightmare, perhaps it was because of how close she was to you physically since neither Katsumi nor Momo have displayed such behaviors before]
Brushing a little closer to her mind he saw a large black silhouette, like his Nightwing form, but twisted. Seeing that she shifted his wings to Seawing form, which seemed to somewhat calm her down as he decided to leave. As he left he faintly heard her murmuring about blood, and something that smiled. "Oh god it smiled at ME!"
Back out in the snow he walked to the hangar that Nezu gave him, trying to think of what to do. Nezu had already told him that he wouldn't be able to have another work study with Ryukyu, and had already told him who he'd be working with next, Rabbit Hero: Mirko!
He wasn't particularly trilled to have to spent three weeks with that lunatic, but he didn't have anyone better in mind so to Mirko he would go.
Reaching his 'room' which was legit just a hangar. He went and cleared out all the cameras and any other surveillance equipment he could find before shifting to his dragon form. Now much bigger, he went around and ripped up a chunk of concrete out of the floor, before taking his claw and scratching onto the surface. 'I enchant this rock, to turn into my Seawing form, down to the last detail, it will sleep like I normally do until I return and tap its right wing three times.'
He didn't really expect it to work, but was pleasantly surprised when it did. Before he let it do its thing, he put a few more spells that would keep it asleep should someone disturb it, as well as connecting it to his mind so he could control it remotely should he really need to. One that was done, he activated his teleporting spell, and disappeared.

It took several minutes for them to calm Emery down, even after Carter had left, they didn't like what she had to say. Most of them looked sick as she described the grisly scene of her nightmare, a few with weaker stomachs had to go throw up after she told them about Shoto's grisly fate at the jaws of the monster.
Shoto was quite disturbed after hearing that part, but he stayed mostly still as Emery franticly checked him since she wasn't quite sure she'd woken up yet. After she finally was satisfied, she curled up on the couch next to Kendo and Tsuyu as they kept her mind occupied while the others talked about what they'd heard.
"I find it suspicious that Carter's dragon from was the one killing us, maybe a premonition?" Shoto said as several nodded in agreement. Momo disagreed but Mina shot her down quick, "Girl, I know you have the biggest crush for him, but Emery woke up screaming and crying because of him." She said as Momo pouted.
"Regardless, we need answers. Why did the monster look like him, and why were we all dead?" Shoto said as his mind echoed 'Why was I dead?'
Turning on the news everyone's attention was drawn to it to distract themselves from what had just happened, but it didn't help much.
"This just in : Several dozen ice sculptures have been appearing around Japan as of recent, police investigated in case of a villain plot, but found that all the sculptures were in fact VILLAINS!" The scene shifted to a police officer in a press conference.
"After examining several ice sculptures and accessing their interiors, we have found the remains of several known Villains and Criminals who have gone missing in the past few weeks. As of now we have no idea who is doing this, but have been able to recover a single survivor, they are in critical condition as of now and will hopefully shed light on what has happened."
A reporter raised his hand, "What about the others, are they also in critical condition, or have they been put into prison already?" A officer faced him grimly, "Of the 36 found, only 1 was found alive, the others were all dead. Autopsy reports will be released to the public once we have enough information to determine the cause of death, as there are several differences in each corpse. That will be all." Several others shouted questions and demands, but the officer and those behind him simply bowed and left.
The news room was back as everyone was sitting in the living room, not making a sound as they watched the screen. "With the appearance of the ice sculptures, villainy had decreased about 3% across the country, is this a vigilante making their debut? Is a foreign organization invading out country, or is the government finally stepping in to clean out what so many heroes have failed to do? Well have more next later tonight."
'Shit, that MOTHERFUCKER!' Katsumi thought as Momo looked over at her, they both had a pretty good idea of who was killing these villains, but they had no way to prove it. Even if they did, who's to say they wouldn't disappear next?
